KDF Fleet Uniform Guide

In Star Trek Online, you're given two costume slots; one for your uniform and your off-duty outfit. A third costume slot is unlocked when you join a fleet. This third slot is used to equip and change into your fleet uniform. Fleets are able to design and set uniforms for their members to choose from and wear. Fleet Uniforms are usually warn to official fleet events and gatherings. Set up your Fleet Uniform today!

The Fleet Uniform has two versions, one with pants and one with an optional skirt. Female characters that do not like the skirt are free to wear pants instead. Unfortunately, the game does not allow male characters to wear skirts.

To get started, head to the nearest Tailor. On the Fleet Starbase, there is a Tailor in the Requisitions area. Either click your Fleet Uniform slot and click Modify, if you have not done so previously, or click Create. This will bring up the Costume Editor. Once you have all the options set correctly, click Purchase in the bottom right corner to save your changes. To change to your uniform, right click the Your Status element in the UI and select Change Uniform.

The easiest way to create the Fleet Uniform is to load the saved uniform. To start, in the bottom center click on Uniform in the Advanced menu.

Advanced Menu

Once on the Uniform option, there's a drop down near the top where you can load the appropriate uniform for your class.

Fleet Uniform Select

You should attempt to load your uniform this way to begin, but bugs within the Fleet Uniform system may cause the uniform to load incorrectly. Use the images and table below to check that you're uniform is setup properly.

If you're having trouble selecting uniform options or loading the Fleet Uniforms, you may need to change the costume type. To do that, click on Head in the Advanced menu and in the top right, click the drop down and select Uniform.
