Destination Star Trek - Birmingham October 2016

Just wondering if any fleeties are planning on going to Destination Star Trek in Birmingham (UK) this October?

A few friends of mine and I are going - if anyone fancies a beer or two?

It's by the same people that did the big London one in 2014 (and 2012). The bridge photo shoots were so good! :)

We have now booked for the weekend and will be there. Now we just need to find a local site to put our caravan and we are sorted. Just deciding now whether to go to the saturday night party or not :unsure:

I'm sort-of thinking of going but haven't decided for sure yet! It's a fair few pennies but conventions are such huge fun :)

Hope to see a few Stonewallers there.

At the last Destination Star Trek Cryptic turned out in force and even arranged a session in the pub for players

I still have the signed Voyager MSD poster they were handing out :)

Yeah alas travel and hotel for me takes this a tad out of my affordability on a whim bracket :(

Costume arrived today for this so looks like I will be dressed as a proper Trekkie when we go at the weekend. Still a bit miffed that Cryptic only ever go to the DST's which I didnt/dont go to :(

Well tomorrow is the big day when I finally get to go and our little caravan is setup at a site 10 minutes from the NEC so no rushing in or out.  Really keen to see the free talks this year as it looks like we finally get actors giving freebie talks (or at least I hope they are).  Looking forward to seeing both Dax'es (Daxii??) , George Takei and Marina sirtis along with the concept Enterprises :)
