COSTLY and sometimes even LETHAL...

So (before I understood how to assign Duty Officer's properly) I got several of them killed with DISASTER reports coming back with FATALITIES and SEVERE INJURIES because...I'm a NOOB and didn't know to match up the Duty Officer's passive traits with the traits the missions require the most of to boost the success of the missions. Therefore, yesterday, I had to have a memorial service for the Duty Officers I got killed in the line of NOOB-NESS!

I picked a few LOCAL DAISIES and placed them next to my monitor with a few special words for THE FALLEN...."SHIT! and What the hell!" was amongst some of the words in my commemorative speech.

Needless to say, I'm down-on-my-luck where DO's are concerned.... and if any of you have and extra DO-Packs or just extra single DO's, which are ...

1. Unwanted and
2. Willing to die for me!

My handle is Tallon Zek@omerta22 ( there is a space between the (n) and the (Z) I'm, Romulan-Federation-Tactical

AND so... if you're willing to part with them, I would greatly appreciate it. I will do my best NOT to get them killed this time. (Disclaimer: there are NO guaranties before I've had COFFEE... so send them along knowing there's a potential RISK that they may be KILLED as well!)

I will now head off in a humble attempt explain to my apartment manager the intricacies of STO and Duty Officers and NOOBS.... and why the DAISES in the flowerbeds around our apartment building.....are suddenly disappearing!

Have a blessed day!

Just sent you 99 Reinforcement doff packs to you in game email. Enjoy and don't feel bad if you kill them off.

Hi Siafu!

Even if you should manage it to kill the Doffs Parker sent you - although that might take a while: DON´T PANIC! xD

There are a Vulcan (near the entrance to the main building), Tellarite and Andorian (standing at the left side of the building where you can do the "Path to 2409" dailies) personell officer at Starfleet Academy, which give you new doffs. Just accept their assignments.

Inside the building is another personell officer that offers you assignments for doffs. Only the first one in the list costs dilithium, the other assignments are free.

At Romulus Command Center you have this possibility, too. It´s not a personell officer but a console you have to activate to accept the assignments. Don´t ask me now, where exactly this console is, I haven´t played my Romulan toon for so long, lol. But just ask ingame, there are always Romulans sneaking around who can help you.

I hope this helps. :)

Greetings, A.M.

So uhm There's always slavery...

Here's what you can do. open up those doff packs and list and the white doffs for what ever the market price is usually 20-30K then use that money to buy blues or better so you can actually succeed.

From the transporter go forward into the rotunda, there are 2 exits, go to the right, towards the admiral. Instead of going left to see the admiral, go right through the doorway, instantly go left and the console is near the next doorway on the left against the wall.

At the Personnel Office, you can exchange 5 Common DOFFS for 1 random Green Doff. Then, you can exchange 3 Green Doffs for 1 random Blue Doff and so on, untill you only have Purples. It's a time (and Dilithium) consuming process, but eventually you're left with a ship full of the best of Starfleet.

And like Bao says, only the whites die, so you can then send your Green/Blues/Purples out with wild abandon.
