worth the money?

I really do miss this game, even if I'm used to dodge combat and no healer/tank...the PVP was awesome and the dungeons were even cooler!

Is it worth the 15/mo sub, for someone who works a lot?

I already have a 50 Sage, and my vanguard is 37. I'd even transfer if you guys aren't on Ebon Hawke.

I personally think it's worth the sub simply to bypass all the F2P restrictions but that's just me. I've always felt Bioware/EA went way to far overboard with these restrictions, making it very difficult for a F2P player to be able to join a guild in game.

Also, just to let you know, the guilds have never been on Ebon Hawke. We started out on the Jekk'Jekk'Tarr server (the unofficial "gay server") and switched to The Harbinger when EA started combining servers and allowing those on the low population servers to switch to designated higher population servers. The information you need to know/use to become a member of either Knights of Stonewall (for Republic classes/players) or Lords of Stonewall (for Imperial classes/players) is contained within the Start Here! forum section of the website and is entitled TOPIC: How To: Join for SW:TOR located at the top of that forum section. You are also most welcome to send me a private message (PM) if you have any questions and I'll make every attempt to answer to the best of my ability. :) Because most of our members also play STO, the SWTOR guilds aren't the most active but you will probably find someone online depending when you usually play, of course. I can always log on to send you an invite if you let me know when you have a character on The Harbinger server. I just need to know that character's name & faction, as well as your timezone so I can figure out how to translate the time you plan to play to my timezone. There are also Captains (who have invite privileges) that play at differing times but you will have to join the respective faction chat channel in order to see if anyone is on that can invite you. Instructions for joining the chat channels is part of the information included in the Start Here! forum thread as well as pertinent instructions for F2P players.

Hey Commissar, I'm on at various times. I'm one of the captains, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help in addition to Ltervlet.

I'm with Ltervlet. I think the $15/month is well worth it if you can afford it. Then again, this is from the perspective of a subscriber who has always been a subscriber since launch. The restrictions are odd and don't break the game, but make it less enjoyable. You get to do more varied activities with subscriptions, too. For me, as much as I play I get my $15 worth of enjoyment out of the game every month and don't feel the need to make many purchases from the Cartel Market (other than the occasional increase in companion affection, speed at which they sell junk items, and crafting buffs).

When you get to The Harbinger, make sure you join the chat channel for the side you're playing on so if someone is on, we can get you an invite.
For Republic, type: /cjoin KoS
For Empire, type: /cjoin LoS

Let me know if you need any help, advice, changes on the game since you were last here. See you in-game!
