Stonewall Fleet Event - Dilithium Dailies & Training!

Hello Everyone!

As some of you may have noticed, the calendar in game (default key J) has been updated with the most recent season 8.5 patch! There are no longer regular small windowed events during each calendared day. Cryptic has decided to switch to Bi-weekly, special weekend events. This coming weekend will be the first official installment: The Dilithium Weekend! This Event will run from 10:00 AM PST on Thursday, February 6th until 10:00 AM PST Monday, February 10th.

What this means for you!

All dilithium rewards throughout the game have been boosted for this weekend! This includes: PvE, PvP, and foundry missions. In addition to the standard events; the Ferengi Mine, Fleet Dilithium Mine and the VIP dilithium claims (awarded from lock boxes) are DOUBLED during this special weekend event!

Now, we know that some of you out there aren't too keen on "grinding" your daily quota of Dilithium, but this doubled output is too good to pass up! The Stonewall Fleet Leadership & Fleet Captain team will be in game for a large part of the weekend to help guide you though these missions if you have never done them before. We will also be setting up teams so that you can go get your daily quota with a buddy or four! Keep an eye peeled to Stonewall Fleet chat for these groups as they form throughout the event.

We also have a special friendly COMPETITION in store for you! Keep your eyes on the forums for more details to be released Friday Morning!

We will also be posting information on the planned functions for the next Weekend event, which will reward bonus reputation marks! Stay tuned for more info on that in the coming days.

The next season isn't due to hit until April so lets get everyone dilithium rich, and your reputations completed!

Noone wants to still be grinding out the current five reputations when we will likely get a SIXTH one for Season 9.

I won't be in game over the weekend due to other 'Engagements', but will certainly look at getting in Friday and Monday if anybody is around to head off with.

Keep this in mind also folks, you CAN convert Dilithium into Zen, so if there's a ship you've been eyeing or perhaps a 3 pack of ship that is currently or will be available later that you want to get, you can cut or even eliminate the amount of real world money you'd have to spend.

This is even more advantageous when you have multiple toons as you can stockpile copious amounts of Dilithium per toon and refine up to your daily limits on each one long after the event is over.

A ship 3 pack is approximately 625,000 dilithium to convert :)

a 50% enhancement to anything that offers dilithium and all mine resources doubled! so get mining guys!!

And for those who may find mining a bit tedious or never really liked the mini-game, don't forget that the Voth Ground battle zone also yields plenty of dilithium, and it's somewhere that KDF and FED characters can battle alongside one another without having to actually team.

For those that arn't clear on how much dilithium it yields, completing a Battlezone from zero to full usually takes 15 min with a full team and gets you a total average of 4,000 dilithium and then converting the 250 or so dyson marks and 5 cybernetic implants gets you another 3,500. So a total of approximately 7,500.

add 50% gets you approx 11,000 dilithium for 15 minutes work.... 45,000 an hour!

(Ship pack on those figures equates to 14 hours grind ;p)

During the course of the weekend, members within the leadership will be hosting teams and events as best we can and we hope that we can improve these estimated results! With a focused team we could take a map down in less than 10 minutes! With tips and tricks we could improve that further and ultimately, your dilithium needs will be fulfilled to last you a considerable time past the weekend :)

This is a great opportunity to mingle with people within the fleet and collect dilithium by the cargo loads, as long as you don't trade with a Ferengi trader who is sneaky in hiding things, then you are alright. *Jokes*
