Roleplay event scheduling

The Sunday evening roleplay events seem to be causing some scheduling problems for people, so I would like to consider other alternatives. The current time is 6pm EST every Sunday night. We can move it to a weekday night, although it would have to be at the same time or later because of my work schedule. We could also try Saturdays: the same time or earlier would be better for me then. If you would like to participate but the schedule is giving you trouble, add a reply and I'll try to come up with a new weekly time that works for more people. Please send a note even if you've never joined in before -- we would love to have you!

I would prefer saturday or sunday, about 2 pm or 3 pm EST (or earlier).
3 pm EST would be 9 pm for me, so later then that I can not join (on sundays at least, saturdays I don't mind if it's later).

It's not the schedule that's the problem for me, it's that I've been swamped in grad-school applications, and I also for some reason thought we weren't doing it anymore (I guess because I hadn't noticed any recaps on the boards in a while). My schedule will be lightening considerably soon, so I hope to jump back in.

I still really want to join. Once the Schedule is nailed down I will see if I can fit it in :)

I can't do RP any time before 6pm EST except for on Wednesday and Thursdays so anytime after 6pm Fri-Tues would work for me.

I am wondering if there is a way to observe the role play. Something like an out of character or observer or something like that?

I'm curious about the events and would like to get an idea what it's like in-game. I'm not new to role play but haven't experienced it in the Trek universe.

Absolutely -- the RP events take place in the in-game SFRoleplay channel. If you would like to observe, just join that channel while the event is going on, and you'll be able to observe most of the action. The events can get pretty text-heavy (which is why we have a channel for them), so I'd advise opening a secondary chat window if you want to also keep up with other channels.

So what's the word on scheduling?

Oddly, as soon as I started seriously discussing rescheduling, people started showing up at the current time. I would love to offer an alt time, but there's just no way I can run two events a week. :(
