[Legion] Fleet Emblem Contest!

It's long past time for this so I thought I'd go ahead and start up the Stonewall Legion Emblem Contest!

I've given the Edit Emblem permission to Cadets and above in Stonewall Legion so you can create your design submission for the contest. Just open up the Fleet UI, go to the Uniforms tab, and click on Edit Emblem on the bottom right. Get creative, make an awesome emblem and take a screenshot. Please don't save the emblem! Click cancel instead of save. Once you're done, upload your submission here.

We'll take the best and put them up to a vote! Login now and get started!!

This Fleet Emblem consist of:-

Base Shape: Metal Shield - Dark
Background: Laurel 02
Foreground: Faction Romulan

My entry.
I wanted the laurels of the Starfleet logo to be gold, but it wouldn't let me change it, so then I wanted it to be pink, but I got the same issue. In the end I came up with this.

Base Shape: Circular Patch - Dark
Background: Faction - Starfleet 2
Foreground: Faction - Romulan

Base Shape - Circular Dark
Background - Laurel 2
Foreground - Dagger

Base Shape: Metal Shield-Light. I thought a shield shape would fit the Romulans. I chose a light shape to stand out against uniforms, which are usually dark.

Background: Alternate Future-2. We use this element in the patches for both Stonewall Fleet and House of nagh reD, so I thought it was essential to use this for cohesion. That one can construe the shape as a "stone wall" helps.

Foreground: Bird 2. Again, I wanted to use a Romulan symbol. However, I didn't use the Romulan-faction symbol because it's not a clean enough design for something as small as a patch used in-game. The bird I use "feels" Romulan but is much cleaner.

Base: Round Dark
Background: Greek Lambda
Foreground: Faction Romulan

It might be gauche to bump a thread, but I think it would be great if we got a lot of entries. We have some talented designers in this group.

I started to try, but every time I changed the colours to anything lighter than these, my client turned everything sky blue.



I tried another version with the bird as the background with the shrunken federation symbol between its wings, but I got frustrated with the colours constantly turning sky blue on me so I didn't bother screen shotting it.

That's because (surprise) there's a bug with it. It does that with everyone. It does it only to certain colour selections, it seems, converting them to that cyan colour.
