Pure Caitian Carrier

Okay this is going to be a pet project for my spare fed sci officer. I want to build a pure Caitian crewed, Command Staff Carrier. So seeking ideas for the build and for which Caitian Doffs I should get first. I want to keep it a Tetryon based Ship, maybe mirroring their fighters stealthiness somehow. So yeah, any ideas help etc, (Uniform ideas would be great right now at a loss of what a Caitian Defense Force uniform would look like.)

"Beauty is revered by Caitian artists along with the general populace. Every colour holds a different meaning for a Caitian, and their fashion is often individually tailored to reflect their personality. Alien fashions may appear strange, absurd or unfashionable by Caitians, or in extreme cases offensive to the eye. However, the nature of the species is to avoid confrontation rather than create it, and any comment a Caitian may make on this matter is always worded exceptionally carefully" (118wiki)

However since you are flying a military ship of the Caitian Sky Navy, I suggest military type uniforms would be appropriate. Mercenary outfit, or one of the Starfleet uniforms with shades of blue-grey, red-grey, or orange-grey colors? :3 I know the Cait ferasan symbol is orange and grey, but their tech is all blue. Should be an interesting contrast :)

To me your choices are either beams or turrets. Beams are an obvious choice. But the downside is that to maximize firepower, you'd have to keep enemies at a particular angle (to get all 6 beams firing) and that can be laborious considering how slow that carriers turn. In contrast with turrets, you don't have to worry at all about angle and instead can focus on abilities. Also in most cases your true firepower comes from your carrier pets.

Thanks, ah Turrets my old friends, now how to optimize their use, I see myself using Tetryon weapons, fleet or another flavor? Projects like this I love doing, though I wish the Caitian Boff had a good space trait to use.

As far as type, I'm not aware of any reputation or race type Tetryon weapons (ie. Elachi Crescent weapons are disruptor type) As far as fleet versions, none of our fleets have Elite Tetryon yet. I'd say that you're best bet is probably Advanced Fleet Tetryon turrets.

On a torp mine boat (probably quantoms cause i have the wide angle one, or the rapid fire transphasics. also have gathering dust a bio-neural torp) but with a torp mine builds, would the borg cutting beam be good to add into that? I am basing this build around the caitian carrier, (so happy they are giving her a fleet version now)

I absolutely love the Catian carrier but that turn rate drives me nuts, even with stacked RCS Accelerator Consoles.
