==Ghastly Ghosts==
The Trinity was on screen one moment and then vanished the next. I requested a sensor scan of the area, as well as as review of all sensor logs prior to the incoming hail up to the moments after the ship vanished from the screen.
"Sir, the Ruane is hailing. They are asking why we have stopped, sir".
"Ask the Ruane to intercept us as quickly as possible and ask Capt. Fitzroy to beam over once they arrive. Send the Sensor data to my quarters as soon as we have something. Number 1 you have the bridge. Continue scanning for that ship." I ordered and left the bridge.
Something was odd about this little encounter and I intended to get to the bottom of it. I entered my quarters and as the doors closed behind me I felt a chill. "Computer raise temperature by 3C." I walked over to the replicator and requested my usual coffee. As it materialized the steam vanished and it froze over. "Computer, raise the temperature by 3C!" I commanded. I could see my breath at this point and it was getting damn cold. I walked over to the doors to leave but the doors struggled to open. I tapped my comm badge...nothing. Behind me I felt a rush of cold air and the doors slammed shut. I spun around and there he was, the ghastly ghost Captain of the Trinity.
As I opened my eyes I saw him staring down at me. "Captain?" I asked attempting to get up. He restrained me gently and I relaxed slightly. "What's going on?" I asked.
"We found you on the floor in your quarters, Parker. It seems as though you lost consciousness. Rest easy a moment, you are in sickbay." Stated Rufus. "What happened?"
"I...I don't know. I went to my quarters to read up on something...I can't quite remember what...I replicated a coffee...It was cold...the room, not the coffee." I stuttered.
"Well you have burns on your arm consistent with the hot coffee you were carrying. The cup was on floor near you when I came in." Stated Rufus. "The temperature in the room was fine when I walked in."
"...the doors..." I interrupted, "they worked?" I asked.
"Of course Parker." He replied.
The doctor came over with a hypo-spray, scanner and a dermal re-generator. Rufus stepped back, his eyes still locked on to mine. His comm badge signal went off as his ship tried to contact him. Tapping his badge, "What is it?" he asked. "Sir, we are getting some strange readings in section 2 deck 7 of the Phantom. It appears there is something going on in Captain Anderson's quarters. The environmental's are fluctuating pretty drastically, 1 second it is 21C then the next -6C. Sir, it's normal now." As the comm officer finished his sentence the signal was lost. Rufus tried to contact his ship but received no response...
