Good Day Stonewall Fleet,
As our Fleet grows, we face an ever increasing challenge; Sharing the spirit of Stonewall with our new and returning fleet mates. In addition to our Fleet and Community growing on a regular basis, so too is the game which brings us all together. With the recent game expansion in Legacy of Romulas, we are experiencing a high rate of membership applications, and an even higher rate of inactive fleet members returning to the game. To that end we have begun to develop a new tool in our ever expanding universe.
The "Welcoming Committee" was a concept that came to fruition based on a need of the Fleet Leadership for general fleet member social interactivity. The basic idea is that we would have a team of seasoned and social fleet members that would go the extra light-year to help those that have just joined the game, or are relearning new game mechanics from their brief absence away from the community.
The committee will be lead by our very own super-socialite, Geo. The committee will directly report to the Fleet Morale Department; with periodic interactions in the Fleet Resources, and Fleet Membership Management departments on as 'as needed' basis. This committee will not be a Fleet Leadership Team, but a Social Interactivity Group.

- Identifying and welcoming new fleet members via the fleet website in the 'Start Here' forums.
- Share the upcoming fleet events, and social group pages on the fleet website.
- Interaction with new, returning, and current members of Stonewall Fleet via in-game Fleet Chat.
- Asking new/returning members if they have any questions about new or updated game mechanics.
- Offering new/returning members tours of the Fleet base and Holdings.
- Offering to Team-up with the new members to assist in the leveling their character.
- Offering to aid the new members with ship/personal items or EC in order to educate them on how to use vendors, the exchange, and the different uses of the items in game.
