TOR setup

Hello fleeties!
I'm downloading TOR back to my computer at the moment.
My question is, what server do we play on? Oh, and should I join Republic or Empire first? I want to play with as many of you as possible. Of course I'll join both sides, but I want to focus on one character

Most spend more time on Rep than Emp, we are on harbinger, that was last i knew a few weeks ago.

YAY Dom!! I have toons on each side... my all-time favourite was my Republic Jedi Sage, but the Imperial Bounty Hunter was a lot of fun too.

I do have a low-level Imperial Sith Sorcerer, so maybe we can level if you choose Imperial!

OH and yes... Harbinger is our server.

Just to confirm what everyone else has already said, the SWTOR guilds play on the Harbinger server and Republic side is more active than Imperial side.

You just need to make sure you join the chat channel for the side you want an invite for. The command lines to type in the chat box (minus the quotation marks of course) are "/cjoin kos" for Republic side and "/cjoin los" for the Imperial side. Those are also the channels you use to ask for an invite. The only problem is if you decide to use the F2P business model you can't join or use any created chat channel. That's not a problem if you subscribe though. If you have any trouble finding someone online when you play or are a F2P player, please send me a PM on the website and let me know the times you usually play and your timezone, and the name and faction of your toon(s). I'll log on at the same time and send you an invite.
