So is Update 2.0. I've been trying to play it a little bit, but I haven't played my level 50s in so long, I've almost forgotten how to play those classes. Such is the curse of being an altaholic.

So far Makeb seems promising. I'm still getting used to the new missions. And apparently we now get a 5% XP boost if our characters are in a guild -- guess it's time to get all my alts on board finally!

They also say that guilds will be getting more love as time goes on. I am still finishing my 8th chapter 3 character so i havent really done any makeb yet. Im also working getting characters crew skills up to the new 450 limit, and neither of my crafter have any money for any schematics.

Makeb is fun. My only real complaint at the moment is I have yet to find a Cantina/Rest Zone there which is kind of bugging me since I don't want to go back to my ship every time I log out. Apart from that I've been loving the new stuff.

The entire area you start from on Makeb is a "rest area". I was looking for the same thing and noticed when I crossed the bridge to return to the ship I came in on, it said "leaving rest area" and when I retraced my steps back over the bridge, it said "entering rest area". That's really nice not having to actually find a cantina to log out in or having to return to your ship.

The other thing I noticed is that transportation fees have been ramped up big time. Where it used to cost less than 200 credits to fly to and from planets, most of the fees have been raised considerably above that. It costs 2300 credits to fly from the fleet to Makeb! :( I saw several other similar fees to other planets but that was the highest. :S

The interplanetary transport fees were changed from being distance-based to level-based. Makes sense, I always thought it strange that travelling to another planet, in a spaceship, was way way way cheaper than catching a taxi on the ground to go from point to point.

Hmm hadn't noticed but then since becoming a multi-millionaire with my Consular by selling cartel market items... I guess money isn't an issue for me

So I bought the expansion a few minutes ago and decided I'd better try it out again. I think I may delete my current toons and start fresh. Current toons are only level 11's and a few 2 or 3's.

Can anyone suggest which faction to play? I have played both in the past but want to settle on one going forward.

Also what about classes? Is any one class better at leveling So-Lo? It seems since I will be such a noob in the game that I will be solo for some time.

Story is better on the imp side, best 2 are considered agent and inquisitor. As for single advancement, trooper/hunter knight/warrior are easiest. More fleets tend to play Republic.

Imp does have the better story lines. I've only got 2 Republic characters and 4 Imp characters all around lvl 40.

I started an Imperial Inquisitor named Dravind.
