White Winter Whirl Holiday Weekend!

Happy Holidays Stonewall Fleet,

It is my great honor and privileged to present to you a secret project the Fleet Morale Department has been working on.

As most of you know, Stonewall Fleet has an annual pride celebration during the month of June each year. The Admirals and Fleet Captains take great joy in putting on such a large and structured weekend full of events for the fleet. It is in that spirit this new event was built from.

I am pleased to announce that the first annual Stonewall Fleet White Winter Whirl Event will begin on Friday December 14th at 8:00 Pm EST, and Conclude on Sunday December 16th at 10:00 PM EST.

What an ambitious and terrific set of events! I'm hoping that I'll be able to make it to the weekend! I'm looking forward to so many of the events... Some great, unique ideas here!

Just one minor item I was wondering about:

3:00 PM Ground PvP (Klingons) - Private PvP Queue

Are our fed brothers and sisters really that afraid to meet us face to face? :P

The list of events looks really amazing.

But I just realized that the schedule is not Europe-friendly at all. :/ The events on Saturday run from 10pm - 6am local time, for example.

Hope you can take the good old world into account when you schedule future events. :)

Same this makes me a sad panda as it means i will miss alot of the events this weekend.

Are you sure you have the times converted right? The times are in Eastern Time which is -5 and from what I see, Germany is +1 so there should only be a 6 hour difference. That's make it 7PM - 3AM (6PM - 2AM for our British players).

Absolutely agree.... well done all!

Oh lala... What a blast. A weekend filled with the companionship of our fleet mates. Times like these where I am extra glad to be part if this fleet (I'm always glad to be, hence the "extra"). Congrats all on the success of your event.

You're right, of course. I based my statement on Pacific Standard Time (time conversion - always so confusing!). Still those times were not exactly great for European players.

I'm not even sure if anything can be done about this, given that all the event organizers probably had lots and lots to do with creating the festivities. Asking them to do another shift for European players would be too much, I get that. :)

Anyway, the event looked like lots of fun. So I figure those who did attend had a blast. Well done and congratulations.

Was there any playthrough of "Shadows of the Past"? Got a few reviews for the mission over the weekend and I think I recognized some of the names from the fleet roster. So, if the event had anything to do with, even more thanks from me. :)

Many of the event organizers are from the Pacific Time zone and that would've made it 11AM - 6:30PM; meaning they gamed right through lunch and dinner. There really isn't a perfect time to run events. That's why we plan 8 hour long stretches of events so hopefully the majority of players would be able to log in and participate in at-least part of the events.

Yes! They ran through your mission on Saturday for the Foundry Mission event!

Oh please... did you REALLY fall for Ozzie's old "pool boy" routine...?

The only reason Ozzie needs a pool boy is for cleaning out his spinal lance's emitter coils!

I had great fun in the Fleet PVP, I wish I could have made it to more events but I was a bad boy and hadn't gotten my Tree or any of my Christmas shopping done.

I wasn't able to participate in that many events, but thank you everyone for organizing this! It was great to log on and see so many fleet members playing!
