Re: Reddit rolling on CD
Oh jesus christ, I should have stayed in bed  ...
If you don't feel like you can stay on a server with Reddit (it is only two of the Reddit guilds, not the entire community) then roll on another server. You have free-will and you can still join the guild and take part in the discussion. The only problem will be that you won't have access to the guild buffs or be able to take part in WvW with us.
Guild Wars 2 is very much a social game but that doesn't mean you have to directly interact with every single person who is on your server. I wanted to go with the LGBT guilds to try and increase how open we could all be while playing the game and there is no reason why Reddit should hinder that.
If you have local chat on and if a member of Reddit (or anybody) acts in a homophobic manner then screenshot it, ignore them and either report it to ArenaNet or send it to me and I'll report it to ArenaNet.
Reddit maybe big but being a member of Reddit won't offer them protection. The entire Reddit community isn't going to quit Guild Wars 2 just because a few of their members got hit with the banhammer for being douches. Chances are they'll be known as douches in the Reddit community. All communities have members who fall into the douche-i-ness category (except this one, love you guys! ).
As long as we stick together we'll be fine.
