GW2 Strategy Guides -

For those that are strategy guide buyers there are actually two of them - a regular softcover and a limited edition hardback. I'm not sure Brady is the best guide company.. they seem to offer updates and digital options but somehow never come through.

Doesn't look like they will be available for headstart.. grrrrr

Nifty, Brady does make very decent guides, filled with information and such on what you need to know about the game in general. I have used a number of them in the past.

You are right.. The guides are good.. I think I've just had issues with the digital updates.

I pre-ordered my game-guide through GameStop. I was told by the sales associate that they will have it one day before release of game...I'm going to have to hawk the time the store openings to make sure I get my copy though...as they expect a sellout on them. Even with a pre-order receipt that didn't guarantee a copy for me the day they get them, unless I'm there early...lol and I will be. It was $24.99 for the reg - softcover.

I expect there to be a site comparable to wowhead soon after headstart, so i don't think i'll drop the coin on a guide.

Once people get around to it, much like GW1, the wiki will more then likely be the primary source of info most likely again.

but you can expect people to dat mine the gw2 dat file much like they did the GW1 one. But a guide like this is also a good offline source incase you don't feel like tabbing out alot to go search online for something.

My strategy guide has shipped! woot woot.. Coincidence that the online manual comes out today as well? lol

It better not be a hardback copy haha
