FLEET SCAVENGER HUNT EVENT!

Have you been DYING to get your hands on a Tholian Orb Weaver ship, without having to open lockboxes? Have you been watching in envy, as people parade around in their Combat EV suits on Nukara Prime? Win these and MANY more, by joining us for the Stonewall Fleet scavenger hunt event!

Where:
Participants are required to meet on the interior of the Stonewall Fleet Starbase

Who:
The event is open to all members of Stonewall fleet. It is recommended that you attend on a Federation character, preferably on the main Stonewall fleet, as KDF characters may not have access to sectors in the galaxy that are being used for this event

When:
Sunday, August 5th, 2012. Time zone conversions:
Pacific time : 10:00 AM
Mountain time: 11:00 AM
Eastern time : 1:00 PM

What:
The event is a scavenger hunt, requiring participants to use clues, which will be given out in real-time during the event, to identify four different spots throughout the galaxy. SUBSCRIBE to this thread or check back throughout the week leading up to the event, as additional details are released!

The event is anticipated to last between 1 and 2 hours! FANTASTIC prizes will be awarded to those who identify and travel to the different spots in the galaxy the fastest!

So equip your fastest engines and strap on your ice boots! You'll need every advantage you can get to beat your fellow competitors, in order to win great prizes!

• Mirror Universe Star Cruisers (4 available)
• Mirror Universe Assault Cruisers (4 available)

• Theta Radiation / Photonic Displacement Console

Tier IV

• 25,000 Fleet Experience Bonus Pool (11 available)

Please be advised, that due to the technical challenges of implementing an event of this size and scope, your hosts will be unable to allow anyone to join the event, after it has started. For this reason, we ask that everyone planning on joining us for the event, arrive at the Stonewall fleet starbase (interior) at the scheduled event time.

Additionally, please be advised that the use of Transwarp abilities will not be permitted during the event. This measure is being taken in order to ensure that those people who have high ranking characters don't have a sweeping advantage over those who don't have access to those abilities.

Not at all, but people have been really excited to donate to the event, and we're saturated with prizes! Depending on the turn-out, it looks as though everyone will be leaving with something, which is terrific, and is a testament to the generous spirit of everyone in the fleet!

Donated items that aren't given away during this event, will be returned to their donator or retained for future events, depending on the donator's wishes!

As far as the timing of the event, the next event that I'm planning on hosting will either be staggered throughout the day, or hosted at a time that's more convenient for our European and Australian fleet members :)

We'll miss those of you who can't make this event and will make a special effort to be more globally inclusive during the next one! Hope to see you all there!

Glad to see Fleeties coming through with all the donations!! Love all of you guys. As for planning the next event, Voleron, my suggestion would be to (maybe) take a page out of Branflakes book. When he does the weekend events he usually does 2 time slots. Now with our fleet members being spread around the world (literally)and trying to be more responsive to their concerns about being able to attend these Fleet Events I have a suggestion. You might want to consider 3 time slots and if the 3rd time slot is too late for you consider someone who is in ..say.. Europe to handle the 3rd slot. I know this takes a bit more organizing but it seems that this 1st event was pulled together by you VERY well!! Kudo's Voleron!!

Our first Stonewall Fleet Scavenger Hunt event was a great success! Thanks to all of the 23 participants, who joined the hunt! We were very pleased to have such a good showing of fleet participation!

We all learned a lot on how to host this type of event, and thank the participants for graciously bearing with us, through the odd technical difficulty! What we learned as event hosts here today, will make future events that much smoother!

I think Dave has half his hair left due to this event. He pulled em out it lumps due to the stress, but it all worked out. THANKS EVERYONE, this event would not have been possible without such a tight knit community we are proud to have within STONEWALL FLEET.

Funny thing is, that's actually my lucky number :P

An idea, perhaps next scavenger hunt have 2 or more people to give hints per scavenger hunt point. I think that the volunteers were a bit overwhelmed with the number of people
