Do you create character biographies?
Hey fleeties,
I just finished a biography for my Klingon Gorn character Silesh. He's been without one for far too long. And I've been playing him a lot recently. My Bajoran character Kanrim got a biography quite a while ago.
So I was wondering: Do you create biographies for your characters? What do they look like? Are they autobiographic or just some crazy stuff you make up? Anything special about it?

If anyone's interested, here are my bios. And yeah, I like Bajorans.

Kanrim Enoel
Bajoran science officer
Kanrim Enoel was born in 2384 in the city of Janir on Bajor as the son of Starfleet engineering officer Kanrim Jabara and civilian scientist Kanrim Makobar.
From an early age Enoel started travelling the stars with his mother Jabara, who was stationed on the USS Hood, the USS Berlin and Jupiter Station. It was there were Enoel decided to join Starfleet Academy, aiming for a career in xenobiology and minoring in astrogeography.
Shortly before the Borg invaded Vega Colony, Enoel was assigned to the USS Murakami. He took command of the ship after its senior crew perished in the attack.
Currently Kanrim Enoel is the commanding officer of the Defiant class USS Crescent. He is engaged to Starfleet officer Jonathan Brokaw.
Kejal Silesh Hak'Aar
Gorn engineering officer
Silesh Kejal hatched in 2384 on an Orion Marauder. The Slavers had uncovered a Gorn nest on Cenotaph. In early 2385 the Orion ship was raided by joint Federation-Klingon border patrols. The crews' possesions were taken, including the remaining three Gorn hatchlings.
Silesh was given to a Bajoran-Klingon family on Ajilon Prime. Formal contact with the Gorn Hegemony was established but soon ended when hostilities between the Gorn and the Klingon Empire broke out. As diplomatic relationships with both, the Gorn and the Federation, worsened, Silesh's family moved to the Klingon homeworld.
Raised between different cultures, Silesh grew to appreciate the ways of Klingon warriors. Yet he also learned lessons in empathy, creativity and modesty from his Bajoran foster parents.
In 2404 Silesh joined the Klingon Defense Forces, together with his foster sibling Tidud. Both young men overcame prejudices and suspicions by fellow young warriors and started their careers on Klingon border patrol ships in 2408. After he survived a skirmish with Starfleet vessels in the Archanis system, Silesh was given command of a small Klingon Bird of Prey. He choose to take loyal friends with him, among them his brother Tidud.
