Beta Races/Starting Areas

Each race has their own starting area / major city. Has anybody made a decision what race they plan to play and where they'll be starting?

I want to be a Sylvari at launch so I'll probably stick to one of the others. Maybe the Asura if they've available. I've heard the animations on the little guys are really fun.

There's portals in all the cities which we can use to travel to the other races cities so we should still be able to team up regardless.

I've been giving this some thought over the past few days and have made my mind up on making a very Gothic looking Human male Necromancer (yes no doubt one of thousands).

As for starting areas. With the portals and auto-leveling to zones I think I'll try them all. =)

I may go for a Yoda'esque Elementalist. I think an Asura with a sword may be pushing it a bit, Of course an Engineer Asura could be cute!

During the beta weekends I'll be all over the place trying everything.. At the moment the three combos I'm most interested in are Norn Ranger, Human Guardian, and Asura Warrior.. I also want to see the Sylvari..

I get so impulsive when it comes to beta classes, but I plan on trying a human elementalist, human ranger, and a norn guardian.

I think the asari and sylvari races are still locked out this weekend.

In any case, I can't play but have fun! :)

At launch I'm going to be a sylvari necromancer.

For this beta weekend, probably a norn ranger.

I don't like the norn or the charr, I like to play good looking characters (does that make me shallow? :p). So I think I'll make a human but since I know the human side so well ill probably play in the norn or charr areas.

Can't wait, only a few days left!

now with a bit more info I'll probably try a charr out since I'm not planning on playing one at release.. and for sure have to check out a Norn Ranger since I'm leaning towards that as my main..
