help.... sig

I'm not computer illiterate at all (I'm a software developer lol) but I cannot for the life of me find where I can change my forum sig. I can find the profile editing page but don't see the sig field anywhere. Could it be a privilege thing? or am I just completely not seeing what is right in front of my face. Help please. (I tried both from the kos and fleet sites).

Then click Edit on the blue bar. Then click the Profile Information tab and you will find the signature field at the bottom.

I finally managed to track it down based on Nick's description yesterday.

On top of the site knightsofstonewall.com (it works differently if you use the stonewall fleet site) there is a tab 'profile', that is not the profile you want. You need to click on 'forums'. When you're on the forum there is a second tab bar (Index, Recent Topics, No Replies, My Topics, Profile, Rules, Help, Search). This forum tab bar contains the tab 'profile' you need to click on. Then there is a blue bar with in my case the text 'Profile for nic (nniicc)'. In that bar, on the right side, there is a button 'edit' on which you need to click. This link should take you there immediately. On the right of your picture there are three tabs (user account, profile information, forum settings). Click on 'profile information'. Scroll down. The last field is called 'signature'. That is the one you are looking for.

Does anyone know how to add html to the signature? CJUK, how did you add that picture?

The forum uses BBCode so you will need to use that instead of html. It's easy to do if you create a new post and use the editor to create the signature you want then copy and paste the BBCode from there to your signature field.

It did help, thank you. I've managed to do more or less what i wanted.

Thanks guys, finally found it. That is really weird. I went into the profile from so many different ways (probably except this one), but they all took me to the other profile that didn't have the sig. Not sure why there are two different profile pages, but regardless, I got it now.
