Calling all Imp's! (PvE Empire Info)

Hey all, thanks for taking the time to read this! So what is this thread about? Well it's about you! As the PvE Officer for the Empire my role is to plan PvE events for the Empire side. So what does PvE actually cover? Pretty much anything that doesn't involve killing another player. This could be things like...

• Datacron Runs
• World Bosses
• Heroics
• Questing
• Flash Points
• and more...

So what I need to know is what you all would like to see planned? What kind of events interest you? What days do you think they'd be the best? Pretty much anything you have to offer as these events are for you and I want everyone to see things they know they will enjoy.

Also anyone who would be willing to lead certain events please feel free to post as the more of us that are leading the events the more we will be able to provide as variety.

Moved topic to Council Chamber... Still need input from people who play Empire and would want to be part of events.

I would love to do any of those, during the weekends, actually i would love to do them during the evening but my times are totally off most of everyone elses.

Anytime in the evening or late evening. Since I have hit 50 there is not a lot to do, and I loathe leveling alts. I am pretty much stuck with daily grind, but would love a group for heroic 50s, and the 50s flash points.

We will need practice for coordinating operating runs requiring larger groups of people.

If you haven't already seen it, I have set up a reoccurring "Imperial Invasion" event encouraging people with Republic primaries to roll and play an Imperial alt on Thursdays and Sundays. I've only heard rumors about the total number of people online, so if it helps, those might be days to plan events that might require grouping like Heroics or Flashpoints.

I just spoke with my Sith, Lord Vondur, and this is what he thinks.

Datacron Runs -- sure, for some of the easier ones. I think the jumping ones would be worth pointing out starting points and how to do it, but could get crazy/frustrating with a lot of people doing it.
World Bosses -- Definitely
Heroics -- Absolutely
Questing -- Fo' shizzle
Flash Points -- Multiple easily done

As part of the questing, we could join one member for their quests on a planet for a while (possibly with/without class quests based on opposition, curiosity, etc.), help level up lower level members, and just try to get around the galaxy in general. Lord Vondur doesn't agree with this. Apparently he doesn't like helping people. Wait...wait...what are you doing???? [Shock.]

Would love some Datacron runs...

Maybe you could try setting up some flashpoint nights for all levels I'm getting pretty close to 50 and as someone said above I would love an endgame flahspoint night.

I don't really wanna get 50 and sit around all the time and do dailys either so once I get 50 I'm game for any flashpoints I'm operative healer atm but would change to whatever if need be..

I'm usually grouped with Slith and hes a Jugg so we already basically have healer and tank just need some DPS to do endgame flashpoints with....

Maybe you could setup a night when people wanna do heroic quests also that would be great or world bosses and someone else mentioned that could be fun too....

Pardon the "new guy" just jumping in here, but I think this is a great idea. A couple thoughts...

Datacron Runs -- I might try to organize this by planet, by level bracket, or just by difficulty. I would also think about linking to the some of the holocron videos on Youtube so that folks can do these (the ones not guarded or in heroic areas) on their own, so that as a group we can focus on the more difficult parts. But, yes, I think this is a GREAT idea.

World Bosses -- Absolutely. Only trick here is the respawn time and the off-chance that someone killed it shortly before we tried to.

Heroics -- Except for higher levels, I'm not sure how well this will work. I don't know about others, but I pass through levels fairly quickly. I'll be on a planet for a couple days, tops, before moving on. Trying to schedule something in advance for a heroic like that... might not work. This might best be tackled in guild chat. Just a thought.

Questing -- Sort of like heroics, this might best be handled through Guild Chat. Perhaps people who are willing to help could put on their members notes "Willing to help with Questing/Heroics"?

Flash Points -- I would love some times set up around this, particularly at the higher levels, whether it's for Hard Mode or just doing those high level flashpoints. I have never been able to do Red Reaper, Battle for Ilum, The False Emperor, etc., because I can't find a group. Occasionally one other person, but not a full group.

Anyway, great ideas.

Hello, SnowHeart! I have taken over the role as Empire PVE officer. If you would post your avaliablity in the forum called Empire PVE (it's stickied) I will be sure to include you! Think you're right about heroics and questing to be done in gchat. Thanks for your imput!

My Ta-tas Jugg is almost lvl 50 and will hopefully be by the end of this weekend.

She is currently tanky spec and I would love opportunity to practice tanking on her since I have not really tanked since Vanilla WoW. So, I'm always up for running some flashpoints--even if I've outleveled the FP.

I would be up for HMs soon and would love to help organize groups for FP and HMs.

I'm thinking that if Imp days are Thursdays and Sundays, those may be good days to schedule FP runs and I would be more than happy to do some regularly scheduled FP run throughs for alts and lower level toons. Thursday and Sunday evenings work well for my schedule as well. We can call them Run Thru Thursdays and Super Sundays.
