In Game Meet & Greet?

I think it would be fun if we set a date and time to all try and meet up somewhere to take group pics and such. The Jedi temple on Tython would be accessible by most and it's at least pretty there. Coruscant would be good too. Just thought I'd put that bug in our collective ear.

Perhaps Nar Shadaa or another neutral area so that those with Imperials as their primaries can join in.

Great idea! It would be fun to see everyone's characters! I'll go if it's somewhere both factions can meet. *I guess I could stand being around those rebels for a bit* B)

This is a great idea. We were waiting to ensure that the vast majority of the fleet had got their ships so we could go to a cross faction planet. I think most of us at least have one character with a ship, so we should find a safe planet for characters who just got their ships for us to meet up. If anyone doesn't have a ship yet, we can make this a regular event, so everyone gets their pic taken.

For those without a ship they can hitch a ride from someone who has one. :)

Great idea~! Would be good to see everyone from KoS and LoS so a neutral place would be best. Again don't worry about a ship as we can get those who don't have one to the spot.

One more thing. Since a vast majority of the guildies in KoS (not sure about those in LoS) do not come to the forums should we post something in game??

This way we can cover all basis so that most of the guild will be there.

This is just one of the reasons we ask people to sign up on the site here. I'm sure that once something is organized, officers can mod the MOTD to make an announcement in game. But, people should visit the site here on a frequent basis just to see what all is going on.

What about a little section on the front page that lists upcoming events?

That sounds fun. Why don't all the Republic players come to the Imperial Fleet station... (**IT'S NOT A TRAP**).

Really though, anywhere would work for me!

I would like to put my vote in for Alderaan. There will be plenty of us with higher level characters to defend the younglings. I just hope I can find something to wear by then.

On a side note a clothing optional dance party pic would be funny too somewhere. After all what happens on Nar Shaddaa stays on Nar Shaddaa.

We could also do 2 separate times like an hour a part so we could all meet in a lower area to include anyone who might be new but in a lower zone then the higher levels travel to another planet to do the group one non faction. This way we also get pictures in our respective decked out places then in a neutral area.

I give my support to this proposal. It would be great to get some screenshots of us all so we can see the imps that need to be disposed of.

I think it's a great idea and I am committed to participating.

Sounds like an epic idea... some of us are new to the guild and/or just shy so a group event is also great for networking. We can meet and mingle with people our levels and bond together.

I personally tend to stick with people I quest together and keep in touch but I'm hesitant to contact people I've never met in game.

As mentioned here earlier tho, please make in game guild screen notes about this and occasional reminders for us absent minded members. :)

Earlier tonight, I grouped with some from the other side and we had a balloon dance party. Someone from the Republic side even helped a LoS member get the Red Matrix by force pushing him onto the grate. :pinch:

Okay I know this may not fall under the meet and greet category, but this would make an epic photo-op. I found information about the ultimate datacrom that grants +10 to all stats which you need to be level 50 to recieve and it takes at least a group of 4-6 team members working together. It is on the Republic Fleet and it can be done with more people as well which is why I figured it would be great to open it up to all level 50's down the line once more people are level 50.

I will put the details in a seperate post if enough people are interested. We can all make a deal to not get it before the event so that once we get it we can take an amazing shot in the room together. Please let me know what you guys think.
