Datacron Locations

So while this may have been discussed before, and I know there are plenty of websites that come up when googling it, but I thought I'd chime in and link to my favorite site that so far has been the most accurate and provides helpful screenshots:

As for those of you complaining about jumping, I suggest dusting off (or signing up when free) your STO account and play Sarge's Jump Practice Simulator in the foundry!

Great point about the jumping. There is a lot of jumps but if you don't want to do the jumps, don't. Oherwise challenge yourself to make the necessary jumps.

As an addition to the link there are plenty of videos on Youtube for these datacrons. Happy jumping! And if you're in Tatooine enjoy the long balloon ride!

Thank you for this collective list. I still have yet to get any datacrons....it's in my queue of stuff to do as I know I'll need them come end-game.

Thanks for this, I have only found one so far on Coruscant. I saw another one I couldn't get to on Taris. I always see people talking about them in the chat window, but I never knew where to go.

yeah you really need to be a super mario. I can't tell you how manytimes I've fallen from a set of pipes or stack of crates.

I hope they aren't needed come end-game. Some of them are so absurdly difficult to get, and for what, a 0.5% increase to a stat?

Bah! Tell me about it! Found one in the middle of a small lake in Alderaan last night: the only way to reach it was to climb up the side of a nearby hill and wait for an incredibly slow moving and very, very, VERY narrow platform to slide its way up some tension wires, then hope that I landed on the platform without falling to my potential death on the sharp rocks far below.

Good thing I was semi-decent at Super Mario Bros when I was a kid. Managed in two tries, after losing almost 7k health the first time I went "SPLAT!"

I just started to try for these last night. Went back to Tython and got all of those easily enough, then to Coruscant where I had trouble with that pipe one in The Works, but I figured out how to do the jumps after about 10 tries. Taris was fairly easy, except for the two man one, still need to do that. The more aggravated I get, the bigger the gratification I feel when I end up getting it. That's why these things are so insidious, they keep you coming back for more punishment! I'm off to Tattoine today to get all of those.

Check out the following link for a backup method to get the 2nd Sandcrawler datacron (if you miss the platform for it).

Good luck! It works - Colivia and I tried it and got it to work!
