Cross-Guild Pride Channel

Apologies in advance if this was already posted. I grouped briefly with a Prismatic Order member who told me about the multi-guild LGBT chat channel, Pride. If you haven't joined a custom channel before, just type /cjoin pride :).

I have a hard enough time following guild chat I can't imagine trying to follow another channel.

It's a great idea, glad someone got it started!

That will be helpful when looking for a group to do Heroics, I've seen in our own chat channel that it's sometimes hard to get a full group to do them. Thanks for the info Tommy!

You mean for SWTOR for Stonewall? Then yes, it's Stonewall just like on the do-gooder, er...I mean Republic side. :whistle:

Yeeps, sorry I see my post was unclear. So we have a Pride chat channel on the Empire side? The stonewall channel was opened for alts to get invited to the guild, I didn't think it was a LGBT chat channel. If I have it wrong let me know as I'm currently in the Pride channel on Republic side and only join the Stonewall channel for my alts to get invited into the guild.

We really shouldn't be joining other guilds guild chat, especially without official invitation (leader to leader not just from a member).

It could cause a whole lot drama. For example, what happens when they advertise they need a forth for a group and you volunteer. You have just taken that place in their guild group from a member of their guild. If they realise that I can't imagine they'd be too happy.

Also it can be very messy with chat content and one guild allowing something and the other not.

I would recommend everyone try and get to know the members in stonewall. A real alliance system will come along eventually and we can move forward.

This is just my view and isn't a rule from the officers. I'm not sure how the rest of them see it :)

Good points. So far the only universal chat channel that I know of is Pride. This one Prismatic Order and KoS use, not sure who set it up but I understand it's okay to join.

For me I find it very hard keeping up with guild chat let alone other chat channels. I'm to immersed in the story line or what the NPC's are chatting about. But in the same breath I do want to stay connected with the LGBT community.

The big downside to these channels is they typically have to be changed often due to harassment to people that can't be controlled.

I believe the /Stonewall channel is just for Lords of Stonewall invites... not a broader cross-Empire LGBT chat channel. Stonewall shouldn't be shared with non-guild players (I believe).
