Crafts/Mats Fair

Does anyone know:
1. If there is an area where the two factions can meet w/o fighting?
2. If the two factions can trade with each other?

I would like to organize a Crafts and Mats Fair for both factions but don't know if it is actually feasible.

Since I have a armorstech pattern specifically for Sith Warrior and Imperal Agent (I got them on the republic side) tonight I heard of a galactic AH that both sides can use. Probably not the ideal way of trading with the other side as someone else could purchase the items.

This is similar to WoW's Booty Bay AH, both factions can use it.

No I've not researched this on the forums or internet.

At one point in beta, there was a cross-faction GTN, but I think they scrapped it.

I just made it to Nar Shaddaa and ran across the 'Hutta Trade Network', iirc on the Promenade Marketplace. I did see both Sith and Republic items for sale so I'm thinking both factions can access this trade network.
