I find that you can just move on if that happens as the character has saved already - seems not to be able to progress after that for some reason.

If I leave it for long enough, it actually goes away (minutes). But also, if you wait a few seconds and refresh, your character will probably show up properly saved. I find it takes less time to edit than it does to save a new character, too.

If you hit "submit" twice the "please wait" thing stops.

I've been getting a 404 Error everytime I click "Click here to add your first character." Any thoughts?

I did not see if this has been asked. It would be nice if we could list our characters Crew Skills and chosen Advanced Class.
