TOR Razer Peripherals

December 03 2011
Just incase anyone else was interested, the TOR peripherals from Razer just went on pre-order. Looks like everything but the keyboard will ship on 12.15.11. The keyboard wont ship till 1.15.12 (sucks).

Just preordered the mouse. I highly recommend it. I have a Razer Naga now that has the same side key setup. Makes playing tor much easier IMHO. especially with no autofire.

I recently bought the Tron Razer mouse for $25, but still prefer my Microsoft optical trackball mouse (the one with the trackball under the thumb).

Once you get to $199 for a keyboard, will that $51 extra really matter? :P

I must admit, 12 buttons on the side of my mouse seems intimidating. Did you get used to it fairly easily? I am imagining I will hit all the wrong keys all the time. I am looking to buy one, but was leaning toward a mouse with less buttons.

I hold you personally responsible for spending $70 to replace my $90 (albeit 5 year old) Logitech G9x with the original Naga. :) I had a few set-up/startup issues, but it might have had something to do with the fact that there were 2 mouses plugged in at the same time.

SW:TOR will be the first game that I will be using to put it through it's paces, so I'm hoping learning a new character from scratch with the mouse will make it completely natural.

I'm not a huge fan of where the "Forward/Back" buttons are, I actually put one of the nubs on the Back button because I found myself having a harder time hitting that one than the 12-button grid.

I figure with it being Christmas, I've got about a month and a half to test it before I need to commit to keeping or returning it.

I had the same thought about the back forward buttons when i first got it, but now its instinctive. when i use my BF's logitech mouse, i find myself trying to hit the back button in the wrong place all the time :P Im sure you'll love it though.

I just noticed that you cant pre-order the keyboard yet :( i was gonna get it today but you can only get the mouse, headset and mousepad. That really blows. These would match the case im using for my new build next year really well.
