Looking for a few to regularly game with

Hey folks. I signed up early in the year but haven't been back since then. Been beta testing and loving the game. I preordered and Im looking forward to December. Now I'm at the point where Im deciding what to do guild wise and such as many of my WOW friends are being very stubborn about joining the game. I'm looking to make some new friends here. In addition, maybe a couple that want to level up one or two toons with me. Since Im in Los Angeles and work M-F from around 9-6 and have the gym or tennis right after that, Im looking for someone who wants to game around 9:00PM Pacific Time and sometimes on either day of the weekend. Id prefer someone to game with that is mature and not looking to power level. Someone who is not high strung either and isn't afraid to sometimes try the PVP scenarious or PVP Lakes even though we will be on a PVE Server. Most of the time, I prefer PVE but I need my PVP fix too :-). If any of you are interested, let me know. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :-).

I'm over here in Singapore with a flexible work schedule... 9pm for you would be around 1pm for me, and I wouldn't mind someone to hang with after the rest of US has gone to bed haha...

I've played WOW previously as well and since my guidmates won't be coming over, I'm on my own as well and looking for new gaming buddies... Used to PvP extensively in WOW and would be open to experiencing that again... At least, to dabble in it heh...

I'm feeling you about wanting to have a regular partner with whom you can play and level. I, very luckily, have a very close friend who not only shares my playstyle, but also my tendency to just f*** off and explore a bit because my ADHD kicked in and I saw something shiny I wanted to examine, even though it's way off track. xD

We used to play SWG together and leveled SO slowly because we kept exploring the zones and looking for really spiffy things. (Like fossils hidden beneath the ground that could only be revealed by setting down a camp site to flatten the terrain). Eventually we did decide to grind out a few levels so we could explore the higher level worlds without being harassed. xD

The cool thing about my friend Derek is that we would really only play when the other was available to play in SWG so we wouldn't outlevel each other and make it difficult to play together. Not a big deal in games like CoH and STO, but in SWG and now in SWTOR there is no mentoring feature, so it's back to only playing when each other are available.

Of course we've decided to have other toons that we can play solo so if one of us just isn't available, we aren't just stuck with nothing to do.

And um... Yeah, just listening to an 80s playlist and rambling for no real reason. xD I'm glad you found a partner that can play in your timeslot. ^.^ Plus, now you always have someone with whom you can do heroic 2+ missions without worrying about standing around looking for others. :)

Hey, thanks for responding. I'm more of a PVE guy, I just like to be able to do some PVP as well because it keeps things interesting when you are playing different playstyles. I just don't want to disappoint you if you are expecting PVP to be the primary with PVE the secondary. For me its the other way around, but I need both. So yea, if you are interested in giving it a go, Id be up to trying it with you. How do I reach you so we can figure out how to coordinate this when release gets closer? The only negative about being in another country is that I can't just text you and say, hey, Im going into the game now are you free tonight? lol. Each text would cost money :-). Maybe you have an iphone or ipad with facetime? lol

Oh... don't get me wrong, I much prefer the PvE game as well... In fact, I foresee spending most of my time finishing every damned quest (I'm a completionist)...
Just like you, would like to explore some PvP from time to time, but it's something I would do more as a "hobby" or to "shake things up a bit"...
I have an iphone AND and ipad so you can always Whatsapp me, probably the best way to keep in touch... I also typically spend a lot of time on vent if there's people there to chat with... I'm not overly talkative tho, just nice to say things like "hey man, it's over here" or "help I'm dying!" rather than type it out...

I'm in a similar timezone to Ryyven, maybe we'd get a group going :) I'm thinking I'd be more republic side, pve focused. I like to complete the all quests too.

But I tend to be an obsessive powerleveling demon, so I dont think I'll be same level for long. After finishing the first chapter, I think my alt addiction will slow me down though.

What class do you intend to roll? For my first/main I'm thinking gunslinger

I am in Arizona I work mainly second shift, till about 8pm which normally gets me home by 9pm. I normally wont be in bed till about 2am, so that gives my plenty of night time play...

My days off can vary but I am always off Sunday, and currently Monday and Thursday. (12 hour shifts)

I would not consider myself a power leveler but I do enjoy playing with my guild mates, so I am always willing to group up.

I plan on having a character in each guild:
Shayachern - Sith Inquisitor
Shaych - Jedi Consular

Nice to meet you. Im going to be a Jedi Consular with a DPS focus and Ryyven is going to be a Jedi Shadow with a Tank focus. You are always welcome to group with us, as is any guildie. However, Ryyven and I have an understanding that we are looking to level together from the beginning and will only level those toons when we are on line together. When we are not on at the same time, we will play alts..which will also be looking to level with others :-). We are not going to be rushing to level 50, thats what the alts are for lol. Our motto is to enjoy the experience rather than rush to the end. :-)

Nice to meet you. As in my previous reply right before this one, we are not going to be power leveling the two toons we create to play together. When we are not online we will play our alts. You are welcome to group with us anytime :-). If you are interested, we could exchange #s or facetime/skype and let you know when we will both be playing, but its normally going to be around the same time you get home. We will be using the guilds Vent server to talk via headsets too :-)

I just wanted to Add that i am a florida boy that plays late my time, usually starting 9pm PST till usually 1 or 2 am PST. would love a fellow eaterner/florida leveling partner. i am PVE'r that when i am hjigher level i may try some pvp. I am going to be a consular/seer healing.

Florida West Coast (Tampa) here! I'll be doing Smuggler/Scoundrel/Sawbones as my main and Jedi Knight/Sentinel/Ihavenoearthlyideayet as my secondary. Won't be able to do the 9pm-2am PST thing during the week since my job sked is 7am-4pm EST but if you ever want to meet up EST time-wise for quests on Coruscant and beyond give me a shout. :)

Thats cool. I plan to roll a jedi knight alt too, so probably will see you guys around. Even though you're both rolling consulars, when doing class quests, alot of the class instances will allow only one consular per group, as with other class quests. So yeah sometimes good if you have another class on hand :)

West coaster here. I will certainly be playing in the eves after 7pm and weekends. Mainly PvE, but will also want to PvP. Haven't gotten to test out the PvP play but it certainly looks fun. There are group queues for PvP zones, right?
