So now both the given name AND the surname have to be unique. That's disappointing.

Not sure how my Rattataki, my Zabrak and my Miraluka will all be related...

That would be one really dysfunctional family.

There's quite a few Star Wars Name Generators on the web. Those are pretty good sources of inspiration.

...of course, I'm dying to use one of these:

Burthe Phynashyn
Typhanee Lahmp

(and my personal favorite)

Amenda B'wrehkynwyth

Good ol' George Lucas' head will explode.

All of my chars have always had the name "Fox" in common. MY WoW characters are named Syllverfox, Ebonfox, Ironfox, etc. I am thinking I will go with Syllver for my Troopers first name...Fox will be the Legacy name.

I almost don't want to partake in the Legacy system. I might want to take a cool evil sounding name for my bounty hunter but then find that it seems incredibly wrong on my Jedi. Worse, I want to name my Imperial Agent with a surname so it will be "Agent (surname)" I don't want "Agent (surname) (Surname)".

If you want to use your legacy name on your agent you could also do it like this:

Agent (surname)
The (legacy name) Legacy

Here is an example.
