This past beta I went Jedi knight on the dark side and I must have inner evil thoughts cause most of what I would choose was dark side points.

but back on track for teh topic. I'll be playing a Sith Inquisitor at some point as they are very fun to play.

I'm starting Sith but I may go Republic later. (Probably Smuggler. Or Trooper, "..it's a frickin' minigun!")
I digress. When I project into characters I want to help people...by killing slightly worse people. So being a Sith and channeling that anger into killing said slightly worse people will be deviously enjoyable (don't judge me :whistle: ).

You know it's funny I had a similar issue, playing a male Sith toon I projected myself into the character and couldn't bring myself to be evil. Was sparing people left and right.

But then this weekend I made a female Sith Inquisitor and loved being evil and frying inferior pathetic whelps with my lightning. Mwahahaha!

So yeah, guess I'm weird. lol

I will say I found myself with the same issue.. I tried so hard to stay Dark all the way, but the were a few choices I just couldn't do, and I think a couple choices that I never expected to be "Light"

Yep, tried out Jedi Knight first, then Sith Warrior and finally Sith Inquisitor. The Inquisitor was VERY fun. Loved my horny red devil. :lol:

Game play also seemed better and more fluid with the Inquisitor.

Eventually, I will try out all the classes with Light vs Dark to find my perfect character.

I tried out the Imperial Agent this last weekend and I loved the fact that while I was still with the Empire, I did not feel the need to be "dark". I could make my own choices on how I felt about the situations etc, etc. So I ended up enjoying that story line very much. The previous instance, when I played as a Jedi Knight, I felt the need to be "light" so I would not taint my character, though having a tainted character sounds a lot more fun than being a straight up "goody good shoes".

Well shoot, I didn't notice they were going to lock guilds. After playing the beta I've decided I'm playing Sith, but I'm locked in with Knights of Stonewall. Will I still be able to join Lords of Stonewall instead if they go through guild launch?

I'll be playing both. I have 5 characters planned already. I even went into the character creator and wrote down the customization options for each character im making so i can make them quick and hopefully get the names i want. I think i'll be starting with jedi knight on republic and imperial agent on empire side to begin with. Unfortunately, you can only join 1 guild on the TOR website, so i just stuck with KoS. Hopefully they will put us on the same server.

Does anyone know yet if you can join more than 1 guild? I'm currently in KOS but would want to put my Empire characters in LOS, much like in STO...

Once you're in the game, each character can independently select a guild, so you're all set. You'll just need to get invitations for your Empire toons.

I still need to be switched over from Knights to Lords. I missed the window apparently. Does anyone know who is in charge of that?

Also is SW:TOR using the same Vent as Star Trek Online? or are we using another VOIP solution?

You don't need to switch. Anyone who signed up for LOS will have to whisper a KOS member requesting an invite, when creating a Republican toon and vice versa.
