Everyone has a dark side. You just have to be open to it. It's really ok. No one will know. Trust me.

Okay I tried and got my BH to level 4. Ugh being evil is not easy. LOL

Really?

Because just doing your job as a BH has you choosing light side right in the beginning of the game. :p

Making the choice to fulfill your contract can keep you pretty well balanced in the beginning of the game, and if you like your companion (Mako) and want to get on her good side, you have to consistently take the light side choices.

Can I just say that I'm worried that everyone thinks that by playing a Sith you have to choose the evil options?

I'm really happy that choosing sides at the start (character creation) doesn't dictate how you play the game. I intend to be a "good" Empire officer!

Vote Sith 2012!

Depending on the options I will sometimes choose light side choices and sometimes choose dark side choices. It depends on what the choice is and the character I'm playing. I doubt I'd go full on evil but you never know.

Nice to know, but as an under represented minority (Empire) Please choose the Sith. We are the bad guys that do good! lol.

Being evil wasn't so hard after I got the hang of it. The inquisitor story line is one of the best. That will probably be my first Empire character.

I was in last week's weekend beta test, and even though I worked that weekend, played through the Sith Bounty Hunter and Inquisitor story lines up to level ten or so for each. Did not have enough time to even try Republic side.

I found myself playing a Bounty Hunter with a heart of gold, and a very very dark side pure blood Inquisitor (years and years of reading Warhammer novels has clearly warped my morals regarding inquisitors, lol).

So if there is a Sith guild for Stonewall, count me in. I especially want to work on a Bounty Hunter eventually as I love the idea of a Jawa companion (they are so darn cute, even though I know under all those rags, he's likely a little rodent).

I am curious though how this whole legacy system works, is it both Republic and Sith? If they allow us eight slots/server then I can easily see myself on both sides of the fence like I am currently in STO. But I see myself starting Sith side and getting one toon upto lvl 30 to trigger the Legacy system.

Thanks for the link, applying to the Sith side guild now. Is it okay to also apply to the Republic guild now as well, or is it one or the other?

After doing a little beta testing, I found myself enjoying the Empire side more...something about being a cold hearted bounty hunter just really appealed to me.

At any rate, I'm starting on the Empire side at launch.

There must be something wrong with me because I can not bring myself to make dark side choices, or even to play as a Sith. If I played as an Emprire toon I would be a good Bounty Hunter.

I actually laughed at myself as I watched my fiance' play as an Inquisitor and say, "Really babe, did you have to kill that man?" Even as a Jedi I made one bad choice all for the sake of a
and I felt like my character was tainted completely after that. I love the dark story lines but can't bring myself to go through with them.

I played a Jedi Knight in this last beta and I went all dark side. Wowzers your character does change. I went from tan skin and blue eyes to red eyes and whitish gray skin. Yeeps.

For me some of the choices for the dark side points made sense. Like when someone set me and my master up and kiddnapped him and they where going to hold me hostiage. I was asked "let the kiddnappers go" or "kill them"...yeah no choice there - die you buggers.

Anywho I'm stuck now on what to play at lunch. Trooper/comando (light side) or Jedi Knight/Guardian (dark side).

Well, I was planning on playing a Jedi Knight at the start, but this beta weekend I tried playing the Imperial side, and I am intrigue at the espionage that the story provides, so I am thinking of starting off with the Empire, so +1 Sith Guild. :)

After my time this past weekend in Beta I will be playing a toon on both sides.

I like the story line on the Republic, but loooove the dialog of the Empire. Now may it was the race and class I choose the gave such a great experience but either way I will be playing both sides of fence.

I agree the story lines on the Empire side where very interesting, I dabbled a bit with the inquisitor and warrior. I can see me having one of each as they both where very interesting.

You know it's funny I had a similar issue, playing a male Sith toon I projected myself into the character and couldn't bring myself to be evil. Was sparing people left and right.

But then this weekend I made a female Sith Inquisitor and loved being evil and frying inferior pathetic whelps with my lightning. Mwahahaha!

So yeah, guess I'm weird. lol

In most cases i have to try to be evil to get the dark side points. I have to hover over answers to see what will get me dark/light points.
