Sith Guild

Looking at the membership numbers in Knights of Stonewall and Lords of Stonewall, I noticed that many people have not moved over to the Sith guild yet. How many folks actually plan on playing Sith (Def. not me)? It would be nice to have equal numbers in both guilds.

It would be great if we could have more in the Sith guilds before launch, but I doubt we will be equal as most people will want to try the Jedi side first and we can only choose one before the game goes live. I think that after launch the Sith guilds on both the US and EU servers will be just as busy as the Jedi ones once people can create alts and belong to both sides. Fingers crossed anyway, hehe.

Those weak little IA shots won't penetrate Republican Trooper Armor. Silly Sith, what were you thinking?

In most games I play I always go good before I go bad. The one exception being WoW in which I started Horde then went Alliance later. Although, it can be argued that good and bad is all a matter of which side you're on. ;)

I'm kinda a good guy. I tried a sith as my first toon during beta and thought I didn't like the game. I switched to the republic and all of a sudden I loved the game.

I will eventually have a empire toon or two that I play casually, but that's about it. When I do go empire I'll likely play a BH cause they are more neutral (but really cause I want the jawa companion lol)

In WoW I was alliance and in STO I was Fed, but - I found myself playing the Sith Warrior the most during my beta time. Plus the storyline was pretty awesome in how frakked up you can be. Veeery tempted to be Sith.

I think if you understand everything that went on in warcraft 3 plotwise, a very strong argument can be made that the Alliance is the evil side in WOW.

During my beta weekend a few weeks back, I was playing a light side Sith Warrior and having a great time at it, so it is possible to be 'good' and be a Sith.

I certainly felt that way when I was in the Horde. I loved my Orc Huntress Frykh and had more fun with her than I did with my NE Druid, Sylvenger (kept his name though, always liked how I came by the name, sylvan avenger).

I remember, having completed both KOTOR games twice, I went back to try and play the nasty Dark Sider and just couldn't do it. There was some really just petty, mean things you could do (like stealing a trophy from a widow, the only means she had of getting enough money to get out of her dire straits).

That said, I've been playing the Sith side specifically because I don't want any story spoilers when I make my first toon, a Republic Trooper.

That said, I will undoubtedly create a dark side character eventually (the Agent and Bounty Hunter interest me, and I have to admit to a certain level of interest in the Inquisitor story line I've seen so far in beta).

Like others have said, I expect there to be a heavy imbalance for pre-registration, specifically because you can only pre-guild one character.

Once the game is live and all 4 guilds are set up, I'm sure you'll see a better balance of Republic vs. Empire, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of crossover on the US vs. EU as people start creating additional alts and are more willing to put up with some lag to spend some "face time" with their friends across the pond.

Is there something wrong with me that my solution would be to kill the widow?

but it's more cruel to let her live in her dire straits (after you steal her trophy).

I guess you could also find any grandchildren, rape her in front of them, then kill them in front of her, THEN leave her to her dire straits.

But me, I'd just help her out of her dire straits. sigh.

No. None what so ever. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to put as much distance between us before you pick up on the underlying sarcasm.

I'm trying sith in beta. I just can't be mean. LOL I would make a horriable sith player as I keep doing all the good stuffs. I deleted one toon for doing something evil. LOL

I'll stick with the republic and maybe eventually play a sith toon.

Everyone has a dark side. You just have to be open to it. It's really ok. No one will know. Trust me.

Okay I tried and got my BH to level 4. Ugh being evil is not easy. LOL
