edit: does anyone know if you can pick the gender of your campions? I might have missed this somewere so I apologize if this was already discussed. But from what I can see it looks random. I hope not and I hope we get to pick their gender.

As far as I know gender is not something that you can change same as species.

I was a bit annoyed by the contention that characters with scars or crooked noses had to be cleaned up to be romanceable. Some of us aren't that shallow, and some of us like a bit of rough! :evil:

I was surprised, but really glad, to see that we'll be able to change our companions' appearances. Will make it a lot easier to get used to seeing them with other folk!
