i pre-ordered

It was decided for me. No more collectors editions available. So i pre-ordered on Origin.

How many pre-orders do we already have in the guild? How many did we needed?

I was able to get a collector's edition from Gamestop. That was the part that I was unhappy about but you take what you can get sometimes.

I pre-ordered the collectors edition from Amazon. Looking forward to getting in a little early.

Pre-ordered CE on Origin as Best Buy didn't have it up yet when I went to order, aka in the first ten minutes of the email lol

I wanted to preorder the ce from origin but was already sold out . So I ordered the ce through amazon

I placed my CE order on Origin at 7am day one but they rejected the order so I went with DDE instead. After hearing they wont cancel preorder codes on canceled orders, I dropped the DDE order for a CE on Amazon. Still kept my place in the early access line :D

Hmmmm I think they cancel the code if that order is canceled .

No. It has recently been confirmed several times from the devs that they have no intentions of invalidating any preorder codes on canceled orders. This is likely because a lot of people were in a similar situation like me when trying to buy CE from Origin on day 1.

There is a preorder sticky on the General Discussion forum at SWTOR that talks about has the dev and customer service quotes.

I pre ordered. Very excited about the game and our adventures in the galaxy together.

Pre-ordered the CE from GameStop. Was disappointed over the SGRA thing but decided it wasn't a game-breaker for me. Being part of Knights of Stonewell will definitely help. :)

I have to agree after thinking about this for a bit. It's sad but then I've never played an MMO where I had relations with my campions.

I assume they want to limit the number of people at start to avoid having a gazillion players on day 1 causing the servers to lag or complaining about the few last bugs in the game, ending up with no players left the second month. Creating a hype is a second possibility. Anyone noticing the devs creating a hype by being vague about this game?

I pre-ordered the game also and am looking forward to playing with you guys! I'm kinda new to the forum and just starting to look up details on the game. I'm ashamed to admit but I had to google what SGRA was - lol. I've only really played WOW which is pretty much cartoons and no romance so I hadn't even imagined that other mmo's had that aspect to them. I'm planning on making a Sith and Republic toon - so I may just make a male Sith to see what romance is like in an mmo :). I'll stick to female with my smuggler though. Hopefully this will be released soon so I can get to meet some of you guys in guild chat!

Glad to hear it! The SGRA decision is definitely disappointing, but I'm sure we'll have a great time in the game.

It was very disappointing to hear but I don't play games to have virtual relationships so it wasn't much of a loss for me as far as content was concerned. What I found disheartening was the lack of equality.

I believe that we will see this added down the road though. Bioware has been made well area of the concern. It would be easy for them to add a couple of non-class specific companions to the game that you could acquire from side quests. The homophobic types could not complain because the companion would not be forced on them. They would have to go out of their way to obtain them.

Well....

After much trial and hardship and frustration I have finally obtained a viable pre-order code from Gamestop. I'm just going to vent a little bit here:

My boyfriend's best friend is a manager at Gamestop so I asked if he would pre-order the collectors edition for me and use his discount. I did not get the code from him for about 2 weeks because he was expecting it to be emailed to him when it had actually printed out on the receipt. When I finally got it, it and input it into the site; it only showed that I had the standard edition ordered so I had them generate another code for me. This one showed the CE was on pre-order but when I tried to complete the registration it said the code had already been used. The third code said the same thing. I found out from the forums that I wouldn't get any of the CE in game items until i input my actual game code from the CE box itself at launch and the it didn't matter what my pre-order code said I had so I went with my original code which worked.

I don't blame Gamestop for this, it was Bioware's fault not getting valid pre-order codes to them. I had tried emailing them but they just gave me the run-around.

But suffice to say I am now registered! Yay!

I have perOrdered mine oh about a month ago.
