Pride Auction

Last year during our Pride Weekend, we hosted a Pride Prom and Auction on Risa. It was a ton of fun. For the Auction, we auctioned off two-hour dates with the Admirals of Stonewall Fleet and we plan to do the same again, but last year something happened that we weren't expecting. People kept offering to be auctioned off as well or auction off a service that they could provide. We were shocked at how many people were actually interested in it and it resulted in some cool stuff like one of my favorite pieces of fan fiction, The Stonewall Resistance.

So this year, I thought I'd give all of you the opportunity to get involved. If you'd like to volunteer, reply below. A few ground rules though, I'd still like to keep it so only the Admirals are being auctioned off for two-hour dates. What I'd really like to see if you guys would like to auction off some good or service that you could provide, such as crafting certain items, helping with a Respec, or writing some custom fan fiction! Be creative and imaginative.

All of the funds raised will go to the fleet and will be spent on items and supplies we need in-game and soon, hopefully our Fleet Starbase!

In addition to the 2 hours of time for the officers, I'll volunteer an additional hour of Klingon specific help.

I'll auction off two completely tailored builds. Console layout, bridge officer layout, skill points layout.

Ok, let me update mine with specifics, I can auction off 2 slots for respecs which will cover:

• Respec into a cruiser build for Tac/Engie/Sci (I have a spec for each per specific class cruiser, e.g; Excelsior, Sovie or Nebula
• Layout of points, weapons, consoles, bridge officer powers, etc

I have been wracking my pea sized brain for something to offer, and comments from Zep and Brandon have opened my eyes, I hereby off some C-store points. Im not sure how many yet because the STO site is not up at this moment, but hopefully later today i will edit this post.

Im looking for imput, would people like 4-500 point entries, or 2-1000 point entries?

i Made my decision and made the purchase, there will be 2 500 point cards and 1 1000 point card for sale at the auction.

I would also like to include.

A wee dance at club 47, How to make some quick ECS (not in a dirty way), two toon respects including ability training and skill layout, a craft able item of your choice.

An overview of ground combat and help set up binds that make it easier for u to target ur enemies in space and ground ;)

Alright, my dissertation is going to kill me for this, but what the hell. I won't actually be around for the Pride Auction most likely (I've signed up a teach-in on how to play tabletop RPGs that day), so here's the description you can use:

"Service you're bidding on is 'fanfiction creation'. The winner of this bid gets to choose between having either a story written for them or a pair of Foundry missions created for them by @chemkarate. You can have as little or as much input as you would like. Story will be your property, though I reserve the right to post it on the Stonewall Fleet forums. Foundry missions will be kept up for one year, though it will be longer if Cryptic increases the cap on Foundry missions."

Someone was looking at the Eula and such, it seems it might be a bad idea to auction them for ec's. Instead i will be donating them to the fleet as prizes for contests.

I'd like to offer the following lot: the highest bidder will have their toon and starship included as characters in my next Foundry mission, "City of the Polmar Ree".

It goes a little something like this:

'Once every 216 years, every sentient species in the galaxy is invited to visit the gigantic extra-galactic space city of the ancient Polmar Ree. It's been 216 years and the time of the Polmar Ree has come again. Most will go in peace... but in the shadows of an enemy faction, warriors prepare to launch a catastrophic attack. The winning bidder's toon and ship will be featured as part of the Federation's diplomatic delegation to the Polmar Ree, a collection of Starfleet's finest ships & officers, and will be part of the fleet of NPCs that accompanies the player on this mission.

I'm jealous! I don't have anything to offer. Maybe participate in an STF mission or team up on a regular mission for the winning bidder on any Saturday or Sunday. ?
