SWTOR testing begins soon in Europe

problem is its the 29th/30th may now and the star wars website still has it that testing isnt happening yet. Your best bewt is to sign up to the website and register for beta.

I did some testing back in November and there was a large amount of folk from the UK doing it too.

I'm looking to get my teeth stuck into the game when it eventually launches but I'm not going to get my hopes up by listening to rumours ;)

So I am wondering if the supposedly ob weekends in september are the early access or is it seperate? anyone know?

Since I will be playing Empire at launch, I plan to use Beta to try out some of the Republic classes.

It seems like they have been increasing the number of beta invites recently. I assume in preparation for the upcoming beta weekends. Still none for me though.

Now to get back to obsessively refreshing my inbox...

It sounds like beta invites are going out to guilds for Phase II testing. It is my understanding that guild leaders are being contacted and it is up to them who in their guild will join them in beta.

Source was dev's twitter feed and SWTOR Community forum on Phase II.

I am hoping to have the guild get invited to SWTOR as well. i have been looking forward to this game for years. I guess the leaders get an invite then we do yes?

Hey guys, just a heads up there will NOT be a Beta Test weekend this coming weekend for SW:TOR. I thought I'd let you guys know now so now one is too heartbroken this weekend.

According to the StephenReid in the forums, "There is no Beta Testing Weekend scheduled for this weekend. There may be further Beta Testing Weekends during September, but we're not going to guarantee it. The weekend that just finished was really our first dry run of Beta Testing Weekends as a whole, and we have plenty of data to crunch, and decisions to make before we start things up again."

It seems that one factor in the decision is that they will be rolling out a new client build soon, and it won't be ready for the weekend.
