Mission summary: Spirits are haunting an old Cardassian-built medical facility on Bajor. The terrified patients and staff fear the apparitions are the tormented souls of Bajorans tortured and killed at the facility during the Occupation. With the pain of Cardassian atrocities still raw after 50 years, Kai Kira has asked Starfleet to investigate...

[Author's notes: This is NOT a Devidian mission. Intended to be single-player; takes around an hour. It's more of an investigation than a shoot-'em-up; there are some baddies to shoot, but the focus is on the investigation.]

I've got to say that I absolutely loved this mission. It's very story driven so I wouldn't go into it expecting a lot of combat but if you want a great story here it is.

I'm not the best person when it comes to a lot of reading and not once during this mission did I feel that there was too much text.


The writing is great, it all feels very Trek and there's moments in the game that actually made me go through emotions.


I can't praise this mission enough, great ending, 10/10!

So I'm finally getting around to playing Foundry missions and this was the first one I tried. Loved it Ali!

:pinch: SPOILER WARNING!!! :pinch:

I'm curious how you made the vortex with the floating "spirit". I sorta want to do something similar.

And on a tangent, does anyone have nay ideas on how to make a space hazard that isn't an explosion? I'm trying to recreate the "spatial anomaly" phenomenon from season 3 of Enterprise. Something that's light damage and semi-invisible. The barriers from "The Vault" are a good likeness, but I'm still too clumsy with the tools to recreate that sort of effect.

Thanks for the great feedback :cheer:

The vortex effect I used is called "Starburst Effect 01"... however, because it's one of the coolest effects available in the Foundry, it is becoming rather over-used. The floating spirit in the middle is just an alien NPC contact, costumed with 'Infected' base complexion and 'Reflective' eyes, and with its idle animation set to 'Levitate'.
