Well, it isn't listed among the options but Syvok is in the physical sciences department. So, random crewman I guess?

I wanted the spots to coincidence largely with what was seen on the shows. But, that certainly doesn't mean that we can't be flexible.

Any particular are of physical science?

I would love to play Chief of Security. A position I have never played in Star Trek Rpg.

Actually, we did see non-medical science officers as part of the senior staff at least twice: Spock on TOS and Jadzia Dax on DS9. I would also mention T'Pol on ENT, but she wasn't a Starfleet officer and ENT isn't the kind of show I would want to build my arguments on.

Anyway... Syvok specializes in spatial anomalies (Big surprise I know, but this IS Star Trek).

Very interested, but sadly I can't guarantee I'll be home by 6pm on a Monday night. If I make it home that night, I can take whatever posts are open.

Mettus joined Starfleet to serve the Federation and to follow I the footsteps of his great-great-grandfather, Dr. Phlox. (Named after Phlox’s son Mettus, his great-grandfather).

3. Please describe your familiarity with the universe of Star Trek and Star Trek Online. This would include which shows you’ve watched with some regularity and how knowledge of the game’s story.

I have seen almost all TNG, VOY, and ENT shows and all the movies (TOS and TNG). I have seen some TOS and DS9 shows. I am currently reading the TNG book series and have finished the Titan series (Riker is Captain of the USS Titan).

The premise for the RP event on Monday is that DS9 is hosting the birthday celebration of a Federation ambassador. All star fleet personnel in the area are welcome to attend. (That's why some of our ships crew will be there, some elected not to go)

Since this is an official function, please plan to dress in your standard issue Starfleet uniform with appropriate rank. (Department heads are usually LtC, etc)

What do you mean by standard starfleet uniform? Is that our normal game uniform or our fleet uniform? Appropriate rank for our job in the roleplay? What rank would security personnel have?

I would like to put in my request for either escort or science station. Need to know what my requirements for this posting and equipment does my ship need or personnel to be trained up in sir(s)?
