Species / Race Choice?

Yeah the choices are a little bit limited. I guess they will open up more races in a later expansion (I bet wookies will be in the first expansion!)

I was hoping to see particular traits for species, or maybe just unique starting stories. So far there doesn't seem to be any of that.

is this a Star Wars MMO? I'm totally out the loop lol

Haha well there are probably other fleet members who know far more than i do, but there is a wiki here.

You have the two sides (Republic and Sith)

Each has two force using classes, then a smuggler/bounty hunter, and Trooper/Agent. (Four classes in total)

Each class can choose a specialisation (i guess similar to wow talent trees).

It seems you can get your own ship eventually, and even a companion (not sure what benefits these provide)

I'm not sure how much detail has been released on things like character customisation etc, but I expect it will be good (at least I hope it is given the limited race/class combinations they are starting with).

The more i find out about the classes, the harder it is to decide!

I'll probably go for Sage, but am also interested in the Smuggler and Trooper...and the Sith Inquisitor!

I'm inclined to agree with Zepari on the race issue though and choose something i can make look cute/good looking.

Haven't trolled the forums in a while, but this is still my favorite forum! I'm totally excited to play a miraluka!
