TBH, I have no idea what species are really in Star Wars!

I'm also a bit confused by the fact that although from different planets, so many characters in Star Wars look human. I'm just going to go for a toon that looks hot, I'm easily amused by stuff like that, lol.

I hope they put Bothans in there. I had 9 or 10 in SWG. Otherwise I will be some type of fuzzy critter. Just seems fitting for me to be fuzzy.

I wonder if there will be any decent looking droid or bug races. :3

I believe there are more race options than this list conveys. That list is just based on official announcements.

Out of all of them...definitely Miraluka for now. I loved Visas in KOTOR 2 :)

Also it looks like its following WOW race/class format where some races can only be certain classes like Sith Inquisitor can only be Human or Zabrak

I'm sure they will have Bothan but if they don't maybe they'll have Cathar, those are a furry kitty like species like the Bothans.

It does seem pretty restrictive I agree so yeah hopefully there will be more playable species at launch but if not I'm sure they will make more available as time goes on just like STO did.
