Hello Stonewall! :)

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Amy, 35 years old, transgender (I prefer female pronouns), and from the Detroit, Michigan area.

So far I have loved Stonewall! It's been a great experience for me. In fact, Pride was amazing!!! It was my first Pride ever and I loved every moment of it! It was just a total blast!

I haven't been very active in the LGBT* community because well, I suffer from social anxiety and depression. Which btw totally sucks! lol So for me, joining Stonewall was a big step!

Due to my anxiety, I haven't been very active in chat. I'm working on it. ;)

I absolutely adore STO. However, my level of play is at times hampered by my depression. As is everything else I enjoy.

Other than STO, I also enjoy a wide array of geeky/nerdy interests. I love computers/networking. I build them, fix them, work with software, and I've been known to dabble in C from time to time. There's also radio! I'm a scanner listener, shortwave listener, and I'm also a licensed Ham. Then there's astronomy, history, languages, and so many other things.

One thing I can't say enough this.. Thank you Stonewall for providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of us. :)

See you in STO! :)

Hi. I also suffer from deep depression. If you ever find yourself wanting to chat, just give me a /tell. I can be a bit anti-social. But this fleet is really good with acceptance. So I have learned to be just a little less anti-social. :-)

Ok, so I'm starting to feel like the old-man in the fleet already! I'm 38 next month...

Hey fols, I'm Ben (clue is in the username I guess). Ben is actually my middle name... I have a long standing hate of my first name Peter so I go by Ben ;)

I've been playing STO for about 10months now and absolutely love it, hugely different to my first MMO which was Everquest. I played that for around 10years? on and off. I've also been a massive Trek fan since I was in my teens and saw the first episode of TNG after school. That day used to be the highlight of my week ;) I've been a member of another Fleet - Praetorian Guards pretty much since I first started playing, it was a new fleet and full of great people. However it has died a death over the summer and I've been looking at Stonewall with envy as I watch the chat go by. So to test the waters I've enlisted my Reman toon Zdzon and my others will no doubt be following in the near future...

Although off sick with work (stress, depression and recently diagnosed with bi-polar) atm I am a trained Medical Herbalist (4 years of my life I'll never get back but so glad I did it). If you want to know more info ask away... most people get it confused with Homeopathy which it isn't! Lastly I'm Manchester UK based, well Stockport which is technically Cheshire.

Anyway, hopefully see everyone in-game at some point in the future x

Hola,

Well let's see, I'm 23,and I've literally grown up with Star Trek and Star Wars. Both forays started off with the films, I absolutely loved watching Shatner's movies and admittedly I've never watched the TOS.Let's see..I'm a navy brat, so I mostly grew up in Yokosuka Japan, although I can speak japanese like the japanese I unfortunately cannot understand it and have the language comprehension of a four year old.

So yeah, my child hood is weirdly enough started out with Sailor Moon, then add Gundam, Star Trek, Star Wars, and then I found out about recreational reading. Started with Star Wars books admittedly, then I read a short story by Anne McCaffrey entitled The Littlest Dragonrider, which I adored. Spent several months looking in the fantasy section for it (Didn't know it was Sci-Fi) and ended up reading Return of the King, that went on to reading all of LOTR, then Harry Potter, then the Foundation series, then I finally found Anne McCaffrey's work, then from there the Tower and the Hive series, and currently I'm a big David Weber fan, mostly reading Honorverse.

As you can see my tastes are all over the place. I want to become a writer, and am in fact going to make my first attempt at a novel with the upcoming NaNoWriMo challenge, which hopefully my brother might turn into a graphic novel. I'm new to MMOs, Star Trek Online being my first and of course I'm in love with it.
