There's a screenshot folder in-game? I've just been clicking my PrintScreen and opening in Paint. How do I operate this screenshot tool in-game?

Nathanite Species: Home Planet

September 26 2010
Nathanites are natives of the planet Nathanus V, an M-class planet in the Nathanus solar system, which is located at the very edge of the Alpha Quadrant. The system consists of 6 small-rock planets and 7 gas giants.

Nathanus V is roughly 3/4 the size of Earth. Its surface consists of a single partially submerged supercontinent, resulting in a large number of archipelagos, with seas in between which correspond to the plains of the supercontinent beneath. This supercontinent lies in a more or less east-to-west orientation, divided roughly in two by Nathanus V's equator. This, combined with its favourable location relative to the star Nathanus, produce a tropical climate across virtually all the landmass.

Nathanus V has three very small moons.

A thread of nathon particles (named after the star system) streams between the star Nathanus and its closest stellar neighbour, Dirova. Nathons are responsible for probability alteration, and are most notably used in certain gambling devices that the Federation declared illegal after the arrest of Martus Mazur on Deep Space Nine in 2370. It is thought that this thread, which passes through the orbit of Nathanus V, is the reason why Nathanite evolution proceeded with relative ease.

How do you create a template for a species? Is that just a chart showing what features to use from the alien creation menus? I'm assuming so, since I can't figure out how you could plug in any code.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for this sort of thing on the STO boards and not finding them, so now I look forward to posting about my own two created species (thus far), the Olegians (Kvar) and the Nathanites (Ylis).

It's easy, in the alien creator click the save button. It'll create a headshot image in your screenshots folder. That image is the template.

The two headshot images on this thread are such templates, just put them into your screen shots folder and load them from the alien creator. Be sure to change the facial geometry a bit, so you don't end up with a clone of my character lol.

Would be interesting to see maps of the USA done in this style.

I wonder what folks would say about Oregon, my home state?

I'm assuming later on with a bigger ship you can get a chance to get all your BOs on deck for a screen capture like that. That, or you have some mad Photoshop skills.

I like doing canon colours for my uniforms, but those are some fantastic non-canon ones, definitely.

I'm just drooling for the chance to get a new video card so that I can see my characters with the same clarity. As it is, mine kind of look like they're from Super Mario 3.

i think all capatain abilites apart from "evasive manoovers, ramming speed and brace for impact" with the boff abilties you chose, should be banned that way it bring it to a lvl playing field for runabout pvp
