Bridge Commander!!!? I always thought that game had some of the better TNG traits. That was a really fun attempt to put a person behind a real space battle simulator. A Final Unity was somewhat fun too...another protected mode DOS game. DOSBox would just not work for me when I tried Unity...and I haven't tried Bridge Commander in years. Think I still have it around here someplace.

I did the Memory Alpha Ferengi missions you described. It was so quick...just a bit of running back and forth telling people things. It's ashame that when you "Hail Starfleet" for missions, that you cannot filter them by criteria: like only show missions that offer Diplomatic points. I'm at Vice Admiral 1 but still am only at the second level of Diplomatic achievement. Going back now and doing some daily missions that give 10 Diplomatic points but it takes awhile!

The reason for this being that my husband and I have adopted and are now fathers to an adorable baby boy. His name is Lincoln James Barbour-Brown. We are thrilled and still a little shocked! What a wonderful early Christmas gift...
