I have a guild that is Empire side. I wanted to ask if you are looking for allies/adversaries. I am asking because I am from Taint/Stonewall. I saw that you had the name for the republic that I had planed to use, But hey great minds think alike.

Anyways My logic to our guilds joining is that. Its one less guild we have to worry about getting on the server that might not like us. :) Also since we do not have a Republic guild I can send my people to your guild if they wish to make Republic toons. I myself will place my Jedi into your guild as a start.

I also know of two other LGBT guilds that will be joining me. I can see if they wish to Also ally with you as well.

I am wondering if the guild is going to be ready for early access? I will be playing during early access, and I hope Stonewall will be ready to start the guild and know what server where going to be playing on .

I like the idea, but the stardrive section makes it look pregnant.

Figuring MikeyNY is going to go Force User, Trooper is all but certainly going to be my first character. Trooper, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, and Jedi Knight are the classes I'm most interested in for sure.

That said, if SWTOR lives up to the hype in that each class is ultimately it's own sequel to KOTOR (story driven gameplay vs. lots of common mission/critter grinding), I'll probably play through all of them as "light side" as I can for the story.

The trooper sound like any warrior any other mmorpg. Sith Inquisitor Assasin = melee (with cool lightswords) + aoe (the cool force) + sneeking around invisible. In lotro my first class was a burglar, because it was something different and cool. But it was to difficult for a first time through. So i ended up playing the class i leas expected, a warrior. So who knows, i might end up a trooper after a few months.

Yeah. I didn't mean to confuse issues (Warehouse 13/Syfy with Torchwood). I just brought up Capt. Jack because I like the portrayal of his sexuality as though it isn't the main point of his character, but they don't gloss over it either. He is a representation of how I'd like to see other "out" characters to be seen: leading roles, non-stereotypical in their portrayal (a la Kurt Hummel in Glee), etc.

Jack isn't technically "out" because the character isn't technically "gay." He'll sleep with anything attractive enough, thus my use of the term "omnisexual" to describe him. The actor, John Barrowman, on the other hand, is an out gay man (and committed to his partner since 1993).

I am still excited about smuggler. Trooper is ok, but BH was more fun. Jedi Counselor is good and Sith warrior I liked.

I most likely will be starting out with Smuggler and BH.

Steven Reid explained the rationale for a staggered release of the game and further confirmed that Bioware won't implement IP blocking...

So, if you're in any of the countries where the game won't be available at launch (like I am) and you have managed to obtain a copy of the game, they'll let you play it with no restrictions...

I managed to get a copy from Amazon over here in Singapore... Got my code and keyed it in without any hassle...

Guild Phase 2: Alignment Maybe we should do allies and adversaries with other gay guilds so we can have a somewhat gay server, like Byriel in Rift. It makes the game alot more fun when the galaxy if full of gays lol

The only 2 know are Rough Trade, Republic and Taint, Empire that is the same group just on different sides.

Any other gay guilds out there?

I plan on playing a Trooper.

And a BH

And an operative. :3

Hopefully the character creation UI will be better than the bloody awful DCUO one.

My god I hated that!

Anything is possible if it is captivating enough to keep a paying customer base happy.

The customers will complain though if the worlds are basically the same content with different words so something new for every few systems will likely be needed.

I am guessing the changes will be in the addition of new force powers, skills, and creatures.
