I think if you understand everything that went on in warcraft 3 plotwise, a very strong argument can be made that the Alliance is the evil side in WOW.

I certainly felt that way when I was in the Horde. I loved my Orc Huntress Frykh and had more fun with her than I did with my NE Druid, Sylvenger (kept his name though, always liked how I came by the name, sylvan avenger).

During my beta weekend a few weeks back, I was playing a light side Sith Warrior and having a great time at it, so it is possible to be 'good' and be a Sith.

Count me in too! I never really had a chance to raid in WoW as I never found a guild who I fit in with. So now that I have had a chance to get to know a few of you all I am sure that that experience will be extremely enjoyable and worthwhile.

My Jedi Sentinal fights for the glory that is KOS!

The game is great so far. I love the storylines. Only found one Holocron so far, and they better not move it come launch!

In most games I play I always go good before I go bad. The one exception being WoW in which I started Horde then went Alliance later. Although, it can be argued that good and bad is all a matter of which side you're on. ;)

I'm in - since raiding is smaller groups I will enjoy them. Never was a fan of 25 mans but 8 and 16 sound much better.

Yeah I'll be looking all over looking for my holocron easter eggs. lol Plus I gotta say I love the ambient sound it has, really immerses you in the game while you explore. Plus like doogie said, it's very purdy.

In WoW I was alliance and in STO I was Fed, but - I found myself playing the Sith Warrior the most during my beta time. Plus the storyline was pretty awesome in how frakked up you can be. Veeery tempted to be Sith.

I use a standard keyboard, but I use a Razer Naga mouse. The mouse is not for everyone, but I like the 12-button thumb pad.

wow 12" ... err.. buttons...
I think I could handle six at the most. buttons I mean.
doesn't that many get confusing?

They're laid out as a number pad, and you learn the feel of it. It takes a while, but you get there.

Yes it does take some getting used to, but Aldente mentions the numberpad layout aids in getting used to it. There are rubber stickies you can put on some rows to help you get accustomed as well, it may sound confusing but in practice it really wasn't too bad. For abilities linked to it I'd recommend a 3x4 grid to mimic the way the 1-12 are layed out so you can get a visual feel for it. I believe addons for the mouse are now available for WoW but really a 3x4 grid should get you into it. As always though A) Your mileage may vary and B) what kind of keyboard/mouse you want often depends on what kinds of games you play. MMO's generally benefit from a lot of buttons, FPS's less so. RTS's I've found linking control-groups to the mouse buttons is pretty sweet.

Ok, Big hug it is Solari ;) I won't let anyone slap you. The whole Jedi vs Sith thing is gonna be such fun for anyone who loves to role play. I'm looking forward to playing the bad guy, lol.

I'm kinda a good guy. I tried a sith as my first toon during beta and thought I didn't like the game. I switched to the republic and all of a sudden I loved the game.

I will eventually have a empire toon or two that I play casually, but that's about it. When I do go empire I'll likely play a BH cause they are more neutral (but really cause I want the jawa companion lol)

I have to agree, it's more fun working your way up. This quote pretty much says it all:

"Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it."
