I was wondering about the shadows, I am glad they fixed it, it was so distorting in beta. It seems that shadows do it for me, cause it just looked wrong without any shades anywhere.

Oh, I just about fell in love with the trooper when I played in beta, especially that plot twist, mhmm, love me some plot twist :P .

I logged onto Vent last night and was enjoying the conversation but having a hard time listening to the cutscenes while Vent was running.

I've read about creating a macro in Vent to mute a conversation (so you can listen to the cutscenes) but I've also read how that causes problems as people don't know you have muted.

How are folks dealing with this issue? Anybody encountered that problem already?

I have never had any issues of any kind for the last few builds. there was a flight fps issue on coruscant near the senate building but that was long since fixed.
my system is not super high end but it is not a wimp either.

so even now with everything turned to max ( and shadows on) i have zero issues.

add their characters to the Character Manager!

Underneath Profile in the Main Menu, click Characters.

From that page, you can add, edit and remove any of the characters that are associated with your account.

The Character Manager is a tool that we use to help keep track of characters, their correct rank and the current levels in our different guilds.

Please take a few minutes to add in your characters. If they have yet to be invited in-game, just leave the Guild/Fleet to Discharged.

Thanks for that. (And I really want to see pictures of this Sergeant Brad stripper you mentioned.) I found out about Legacy names after I posted this. Hopefully it's still helpful to people for choosing a first or last name, and or a legacy name.

I like some of the names with funny sounds in them, like Starplopper, or Cloudpiddler. It starts out serious, then gets completely silly in the middle. Maybe I'm just easily amused.

I would be interested as well. I have been wanting to do a podcast myself. Theater, debate, and speech classes taken...way back when..ahem. Oh and i have wine!

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Sometimes if I move the mouse too fast, I end up with no idea which way I'm pointing. Maybe I need to tune it down (or stop drinking while playing).
