Re: What's in a name?
Stonewall Gaming Alliance?
A few more that popped up after reading these last posts:
Stonewall Union (STUN for short)
United Stonewall
St.United Gamers (STUNG for short)
The NJ Gayming Comm.
(because I suck)
I'd also like to suggest we step away from mentioning "gaming" in the title. I don't think we are just a gaming community at the moment, we have people discussing TV shows, movies, art and all hosts of stuff they find on the internet.
"NicholasJohn Network" (I like that, lol) and this would allow us a certain amount of freedom when it comes to create future homes in other games.
One idea would be to create another channel named like Stonewallstory... then people can talk freely in there about the storyline with each other and those who wish to avoid it then can stay out of that channel instead of avoiding the guild chat lol.
Conversely the other day I posted the question "So, I'm a little confused about the Emperor's role in the timeline" (being a level 10 Jedi Knight and he's been mentioned in a few quests so far) and someone immediately shouted in guildchat "NO SPOILERS!!!"
So... how does one go about asking a question without having everyone assume it's a spoiler, when I have no way of knowing if it's a spoiler or not?
Yeah I've seen a few folks freak and type NO SPOILERS in guild chat when anyone asks a question. Here is another example of opinion and what one peson sees as something (fillin the blank) and another person doesnt'.
The best advice I could give is to ask the question out loud to yourself a couple of times and then if it sounds non-spoiling go ahead and post in guild chat or do what I did for my smuggler, come to the boards and post for help. I made it very clear in my post that spoilers are going to happen in this post and folks should not read it if they are going to get upset.
The Doctor becomes delusional after an accident, causing him to believe that he is a flesh-and-blood person and his time on USS Voyager is a holodeck program.
