The mod stats will vary so when you are buying them compare all the ones available for your class to use. Some will have more endurance than the other main stat (in your case-strength) and some people will stack endurance by using the mods with the increased endurance which will give them higher hit points. But if you stack more strength than endurance you will do more damage than they will because that stat increases many other stats. It's all a balancing act and greatly depends on your play style. :)

I was thinking that could be it. I had a lot of purple gear on mine though. I'll have to do some research on what mods a guardian should have. I've pretty much been focusing on anything with End and str but nothing beyond that.

Ok, I must be doing something wrong. I'm at level 50, I'm just barely breaking 14k hit points and yet last night I grouped with a sage who had over 17k.

Anyone have some information or a website that can help me out on this? It's driving me crazy.

I remember this toy gun I had when I was little. A Walther PPK, complete with scroll-work Walther emblem. It shot strip caps that loaded into a clip that actually loaded into the butt of the gun. As it fired, it drew the strip upwards and snipped the fired cap off causing it to pop out of the top like an ejected round.

I so want a real Walther PPK now. Trouble is they're hard to find and cost upwards of $500.

No harm done. :)

Typical uses for .22s are often used for varmints or, well, just for fun:

Nice 50 round .22LR for fun target shooting and plinking. :3

I suppose it would be decent for home defence since it's semi-auto. You could fill the crim full of lead and any misses would be little pencil sized holes in the wall that you could fill with a little plaster. :p

Very true Angel. Any bullet can be deadly if it hits a vital spot. I apologize for making a generalization and inadvertently minimizing possible dangers. I was replying to her question about what .22s are good for.

Two british men were shot dead in florida recently by a teenager with a .22. A bullet is a bullet and will still tear flesh on its way through.

Purple Items in Guild Banks

May 21 2012
I know some folks are MIA due to Diablo and other interests but for those of you still playing SW:TOR I been tyring to craft up some boons for you in the way of purple items ...

I have put many purple aug type items or wearable gear items in the bank along with some augment open slotted items, and lower leveled orange moddable gear (like head moddables for lowbies) on the republic side. Remember if you have toons on both sides you could technically get from one guild bank and mail to your other factioned toon that needs the item ... I stole all my crafting stuff from my other account and am focusing on my republic side crafting right now .... but later will go back to empire side and all the purple stuff I can make there in a month or so ... just please dont sell on auction house I could do that lol, and will, with some items I make cause I use those funds to support making purples for free for yall.

Its a range of gear so use it up to make room for more as I learn more purple recipes, and farm mats to do that.

Enjoy, use them as you can and make room for me to make more.

Well I've always thought the website was working against me, so that's why I only lost a post when I least expected it, otherwise I would also copy/paste it prior to hitting the submit button.

I have to admit I've not lost any posts to a "timeout" for a while, so... Thank you Nick!

I'll be back tomorrow with a whole new list of complaints, lol.

.22s are mainly used for cheap target practice and for "varmint" hunting as well as for learning the basics like you are doing. Then you "graduate" to a larger caliber for personal and home protection. Although a lot of people use shotguns for home protection. It all depends what is allowed in your place of residence.

Yeah I figure in crisis situation I would want the 15 in the clip one in chamber kinda thing, or with like the 380's it what only 6 or so depending on gun least dads 380 only holds 6.

My ex is thinking 380 for when she is riding bike trails and then I think she fell in love with some kind of sig this weekend for home protection.

Everyone says 22 no good .. but why do they still make em? for newbies like me learing or what? As for 38, well cops carried those for years now mostly do the 9mm cause more bullets ... my other friend that went shooting with us has a 38 now and her cwp .. and oddly enough it was another ex ... rofl I go shooting with my exes .. wonder if they picture me as the target .. just kidding. ( I just stay in good with the exes I guess; went to a funeral once had 9 exes there .... I used to be a bit of a slut I guess heh ... prolly shouldn't be learning to shoot with them)

Nice shooting Lace! It will be important for you to carry that over to the larger caliber guns. You don't want to carry a .22, all that will do is make "the bad guy" mad and unless you happen to hit a vital spot and drop them where they stand, they will come at you with intent to kill. I carry a .380 semi-auto with laser grips. Those are the items that put the "little red dot" on your target and allow you to sight quickly and fire. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you don't have to fire because "the little red dot" usually makes them think twice about approaching you. They know "the little red dot" means a bullet isn't far behind.... B)

The longer the distance you are firing the more your shots may vary. Most handguns aren't very accurate out past about 25 yards but the longer barrels can help with that. You won't want to be carrying anything with a long barrel though as they are next to impossible to conceal. Revolvers really limit the number of shots you have because they only hold anywhere from 3-6 bullets depending on the make. There are "speed loaders" for revolvers that make reloading them fairly easy but it's better having a clip that will hold more shots to begin with (at least IMHO) and when you are in a crisis situation, you don't want to have to worry about reloading.
