I agree with you totally, Sthiss! I haven't seen same-sex anything mentioned by the devs anywhere for quite some time. It's almost like they're thinking if they don't mention it, maybe people will stop looking for it and we won't have to "develop" anything in that direction. I think they are "pandering" to what they think the majority of the player base is looking for and this new npc has been on the "request" list ever since the possibility it might be added as a companion was first mentioned.

I'm surprised and still a little let down that the devs decided to add HK-51 before same sex companions. :S

That being said I can't wait for the game to go f2p so I can start collecting parts for my own HK-51!

HK-51 REVEALED!

HK-51 Trailer

This video apparently isn't new but I hadn't seen it before and it's being used to introduce HK-51 who will be available to level 50's to access in the next major update patch. He's located underground somewhere in Section X on Belsavis. Section X is the new area being opened to level 50's as a new daily mission area and is where the search for HK-51 begins. You will have to then comb the galaxy for repair parts for him before he can be of any use to you but exact requirements haven't been spelled out as of yet by the devs. :pinch: He's currently available on PTS for anyone lucky enough to have had their higher level toon copied previously to PTS. Unfortunately, unless you had your toon copied to PTS earlier, you won't be able to access anything intended for upper level toons because they aren't making copying available for this particular test. :( Boo Hisssssss.....

I don't think having a new contest with a new winner invalidates the winner of a previous contest. You don't cease to be a gold medalist just because there's a new Olympics, after all. People seem to enjoy participating in the competitions, so I don't see any reason not to hold one every year or so. It gives new members a chance to contribute, and means that if your entry doesn't win one year, you'll have another chance next time.

Maybe because it invalidates the time thought and work put into the previous uniforms.

Re: Planned Map Runs for 100% Completion

Once you guys get a time, date and location hammered out I'll try and make sure there's always some guild boosts running while you do these events.

Also we have a few guild consumables (such a Karma banners) which are going unused because, at the current moment in time, only majors or higher can spawn them and to be honest not many of the majors or commanders are all that active at the moment. So I'll try and open them up for you if none of the leadership are around at the time of the event.

I've wanted a scheduled WvW night for a long time but have been put off by the struggles I had when I ran the first WvW event. Without the ability to set up large groups it hinders the organisational aspect of WvW from a guild point of view, unless everybody is on vent and whoever is leading can shout down commands. That being said it is still something we should try and do together more often.

In any case I love the idea of map completion events and even though I've been slowly completing it myself (I'm at 80+% at the moment) I'd love to tag along for the ride if I can.

I forgot to comment... we should also eventually get into some serious WvW. We'll have to see about setting aside times/dates for that down the road. I had a blast last night... even though we were getting creamed, it was still fun! ;p

Sounds like a plan. I have an appointment with school today... last time this happened I was there for about 6 hours so I'm not sure what time I'll be home.

I was working on the map a bit last night and it seems like we should probably break it all down into 5/6 days. Twice a week might be feasible and necessary to get things done. We will leave the city areas out of it... as for the order in which we complete the zones... We'll have to look into that. I don't know if you all want to finish the map in order of location or by levels so we can include lower levels.

Lets plan for Friday nights at least. Any time after 5pm should be fine. If we want to throw a second day into the week... perhaps Saturday so we won't be cutting into anyones work week.

Anyone interested in being included in the first group... please private message me and include the zones that you haven't completed in the 1-25 range. We can start low.

I think it's a great idea. I really don't care what we do.. as long as we start doing something as a guild. So far I have seen VERY LITTLE guild or group events even planned for us. So I am all for anything that brings us together as a team. I will watch for the plan.

Lets rock and roll on this:

Elguin go ahead and create the map with the different zones. (I don't think a vote to do this is necessary..it's a wonderful Idea.)

I'm PST ....I live in CA and any time of day or any day for that matter works for me. So when the day and time gets nailed down I will pencil it in on my calendar and try to make it faithfully.

Make this easy on yourself: it was your (great) idea so pick a day and time frame that works for you. Begin there and start it. If over time there are requests for different days and times then look at your schedule and see if you can add those to your schedule or not, if not I can lead a party around and my partner Posidius can as well. :)

I'm guessing part of the motivation was to inject some life into what some perceive as an underactive KDF fleet.

Does it show anywhere on there whats the ratio between cartel points and real world money?

There is a button in the interface that takes you to the subscription page, but there is nothing on that page about cartel coins yet.
