It's okay. I think I figured it out. I went ahead and donated all said items to the Fleet Bank! Yay me!! The consumables tab was full though, so I went ahead put them in some of the other tabs. You guys should really stay on top of that. One question though, can I borrow 80 mill EC? I really want a Tuffli!

Did you know...?

That when the fleet banks become empty due to a lack of donations, they're re-stocked with items from the exchange and/or the personal loot of resources department members? In 2013, the department re-stocked the Fleet banks a total of 104 times, at an average cost of 1,000,000 energy credits PER re-stock, for a total conservative re-stock cost estimate of 104,000,000 EC.

Where does this money come from? Some of it is generated in our Forum Signature Shop, the proceeds of which are funneled into re-stock efforts, while the rest often comes from the personal inventories of our department members.


How can you help?

Be sure to follow the fleet bank rules, to ensure that the items in the fleet bank are being used appropriately, and also be sure to give generously of some of your quality loot to your local banks!

The Golden Rule of Fleet Bank use is: don't remove items from the bank with the intent of selling them at a vendor for a personal energy credit gain. This rule is different from the Prime Directive, which was quoted in some of the other answers ;)

Question #2:
We don't stock odd numbered Mark items in the bank, as it's sub-quality gear, with the exception of Mark XI.

Question #3:
We don't provide personal energy credit loans from the bank.

Question #4:
The resources department re-stocked the fleet banks 104 times in 2013, at a total estimated cost of 104,000,000 energy credits.

Question #5:
Follow the bank rules, ensure that items from the bank are used for their intended purpose, and donate quality items to the bank!

Did you know...?

That when the fleet banks become disorganized, either because donations have been placed in the wrong tabs or columns, or because disallowed items have been placed in the banks, members of the fleet resources department remove unwanted gear and re-organize the items in the bank, so that the bank remains intuitive for our members to use, keeping it appearing professional and uncluttered. Members of the department cleaned and re-organized the fleet banks approximately 734 times in 2013, at an average organization time of 10 minutes per cleaning, for a total of 122.33 hours invested in keeping the fleet banks clean throughout 2013, which doesn't include the additional 104 times that the bank was re-stocked throughout the year.


How can you help?

Be sure to know what tabs and columns to place your fleet bank donations in, so as to prevent the bank from becoming disorganized and cluttered. Also, be sure to know what gear is allowed and which gear is disallowed from being donated to the bank!
