Guild Emblem Impromptu Design contest (kind of)!

Oh my.. lol.

As far as emblems go, I personally don't care what it looks like .. but if we had guild capes like GW1 that would be different story.

However this lion emblem is probably my favorite but the arrow is pretty cool too (but not for dirty reasons).

Your humour is more than welcome here. This place could probably use a bit of humour from time to time.

I hadn't noticed the sexual connotation in that emblem. I guess you can interpret al lot of the emblems in that way: the lion stands for male virility, the sword, the three, the unicorn ...

I have seen some great submissions. If there is a way to get them all together so we can see them all at the same time.. this is something we can just vote on and be done with it. Give a deadline for submissions, post what you get and we can decide on what we want to wear. Maybe 1 post showing them all with a letter or number assigned to each. We vote by letter or number and bingo.. we have an emblem and we're ready to rock.

I had to throw another one out there. Here's what is says to me:
"Hey, we're gay, but yeah we play games, and yeah we can break stereotypes and kick your ass"
Originally sword was a bright pink.. but i guess white suffices :)

wish the red background was more red. to represent the blood shed by those who have fought for our rights along the way, and to remember those persecuted.

Personally, my vote go for this one and the one I made (see down). For the wrong reason yup! :laugh:

Still it fits perfectly for the guild and add a bit of humor. The heart background+arrow hmm I think its easy the figure the meaning.. :P

There are so many wonderful emblems here already...this will be difficult to chose the very best one when the official entries are submitted and the poll for this is created.

Decisions decisions.... :)

Heres one I made with the online guild emblem thing:

Description:

"It represent the gay part of the guild (like you probably guessed). I looked at the emblems and options: I dont really think (except the fist+arrow) that any match the whole "GLBT" part. At least this emblem represent 1/4 of the guild, its better than 0/4 heh..

Also I think this emblem clearly show the meaning of it even to someone who never heard of the guild but see this emblem.

and finally: I find that this emblem add a bit of humor."

As far as I am concerned most of the creators of this impromptu contest probably will abandon their original emblem when they look at the new creator with a huge multitude of options :)

Yeah. I say we wait til release and have everyone that wants to submit an emblem, submit ONE entry, with their explanation and description. Have the cutoff be like next Wednesday or something. Then have a couple rounds of tiered voting. Then we,ll have one ready by next weekend. About the time everyone is deep into the game.
